Very tasty pizza with perfect ratios of ingredients. We ordered a whole pizza, so it was made to order and came out really fresh. They allowed us to order half of the pizza to be Farmer's Market and the other half to be Classic Margherita. It was cool being able to see them make it right there. The display of garlic knots looked so appetizing we couldn't resist. The garlic knots were heated up for us and had good seasoning, but were even better with marinara sauce and parmesan cheese. I like to eat my pizza with lots of cheese and it was really delicious. Instead of the packaged parmesan cheese, they had fresh cheese in the shakers, which really made a different in taste. They also had chili flakes, Sriracha, plates, and water. The interior provided a nice atmosphere to eat in and I liked how there were sinks (separate from the bathrooms) to wash hands after eating. The walls were filled with paintings and pictures that really showed the history of the place, including multiple TVs. Overall, this place had a good atmosphere and the staff was really nice and patient. I would totally recommend dining inside and eating while the food is nice and hot.

Solorzano's on Webber Street is a must-try for genuine New Jersey-style pizza! As a repeat customer for five years, I can attest to their consistently amazing, authentic pies. The Hoboken Heart Attack and Bada Bing are favorites, and their by-the-slice options are always fresh and varied. Don't miss their incredible garlic knots, calzones, and salads too! They also have a nice beer and wine selection, all at very fair prices for the quality. The atmosphere is fantastic – a cool, welcoming vibe filled with nostalgic family photos and artwork. The restaurant is always clean, and the food is consistently delicious and fresh. What truly elevates Solorzano's is the super friendly staff and the owner, Carlos Jr., himself. He clearly pours his heart (and his family's New Jersey pizza tradition!) into every pie. And that chocolate chip cannoli? Unforgettable! If you want a real taste of New Jersey pizza in Sarasota with a great atmosphere and friendly service, Solorzano's is the place!

Our experience at Solorzano's was wonderful. We ordered a supreme, cheese bread, 2 garlic knots, lemonade and a coke. Our total was $45.01 so either they lowered the prices or these other reviews are trippin. The garlic knots were flavorful but not oily, which is a plus for me. The cheese bread was no what I expected but the cheese pull and crispy edges of the bread was a nice combo. The pizza was so fresh, I think you can see steam in my photo. It was perfectly cooked, veggies still had a little crispness to them and the sauce was tasty. My fiancé normally complains about red sauces lacking flavor, but not this one. The staff were so friendly and you can tell this is a local spot when we heard the staff great multiple people by name and/or ask if they want their usual order. We are in Sarasota on vacation and will definitely be visiting this place next time we are in town.

Solorzano's pizza on Webber. It's amazing that the other night, we ordered a few items and the order arrived incomplete. Calling the restaurant had no positive results. The girl who answered the phone was defensive, rude and dismissive. The next night, when asking for a refund of the partial amount (about $17) we were still dismissed with attitude, yet offered a store credit. Holding our ground, we wanted the original order filled. 90 minutes later, a driver came to the door. A man of short stature, scraggly, unkempt and bearded came to our door holding a couple packages. I thanked him.. My wife came out of the door and said Carols will take care of the tip. He stood there dumbfounded and said nothing. Remember, this was simply a driver and he presented himself that way. He handed me the packages, almost dropping one and she shut the door and said good night. I wanted to make sure he was properly tipped so I found a $5 bill and ran out the door waving at him to wait. He hadn't moved or even tried to move and I thought he was organizing for his next delivery. He got out of the truck and met me by the tailgate where I handed him the money. THEN he said that HE was Carlos and he went out of his way to personally deliver the order. (I think I should have dropped to my knees at that point and praised him) Next, he said I should tell "that woman" to never dial his number again. (Awesome way to handle a complaint) I asked him for the money back because I don't think I should tip an owner. He took the money and backed away refusing. He got in his truck and I backed away. Through the passengers side, he started yelling at me. He put his truck in gear and threw a few expletives at me. I threw a couple back and as he was inching away he told me "Good Luck dealing with her". Quite the insult, wouldn't you agree? Well, their food has lost a lot over the last few months regardless. Sloppy and often the orders are messed up ie. onions when none are requested, that sort of thing... swimming in olive oil, cold. I have a right to say those things, he has no right coming to my door, not identifying himself and throwing his Millennial temper tantrum. Of course, I called his store and asked his poor worker to ask him to come back and repeat his insults without being in his truck but as of yet, nothing. In MY opinion... ONLY MINE, well, lets just say little man, big truck. You get it, don't ya? There are lots of Pizza places around the corner from that little dive. He should learn how to handle...

Very disappointed with the customer service and quality of the pizza. We ordered a pizza at 11:30 on Saturday night and was told that id would be about an hour for the delivery. We were fine with that. 90 minutes went by and no delivery so we called and was told that the SK location was closing and that our order was sent to another location and that our pizza would be there soon. 2 hours go by and we place another call. Again, we hear that our pizza will be there soon. a little more than 3(THREE) hours pass and our pizza arrives shortly after 2:30am. I am now sound asleep (gave up that it would ever arrive) but my daughter and her friend are awake to get the pizza. I call the next day around noon and talk to Phil (the owner) and explain what happened. What would ANY OTHER pizza shop do? First apologize for the inconvenience and then give you your money back. NOT PHIL! I said that I was not happy with the service and I don't feel that I should have to pay for the pizza. He said, and I will quote him. "I have been in business for 6 years and I NEVER give a refund. If you had a complaint, I needed to call when the pizza arrived." Really Phil? I am to call you at 2:45am? I am pretty sure you, the owner were asleep just like I was. If this is how you treat customers, I am not sure how you have been in business this long. Siesta Key people, there are other pizza places, I would suggest you choose one with quality customer service and not one with a...

FILTHY DIRTY DO NOT EAT THERE!!!!! I had never been there before, I ordered my pizza at the front counter. I was told to seat myself. All of the tables were sticky, greasy and filthy dirty. I sat down on the chair and nearly stuck to it because it was so sticky so I moved over to the other side and the wooden bench it was just as sticky and dirty. I searched for another table and they were just as dirty. There was nobody in the dining room That worked there to report this to. I got up got some napkins, put some water on the table and it would not come clean. My napkin was almost black. There was nobody around in the dining area to take care of it. Finally, somebody came and he said he wasn’t surprised that all the tables were dirty because they don’t hire enough people to keep them clean. It also smelled a dirty when you walk in. When I got my pizza, I actually had to get up and get my own plate and silverware. They didn’t bring any of that to me. When I payed for my pizza at the front counter, they told me to tip them at the register so I felt uncomfortable and I left a tip Before I even sat down to eat. I hardly ate my pizza and left. The pizzas are very expensive. They put hardly any cheese on it and there is very little sauce on the pizza. I asked for a tiny bit of more sauce and they wanted to charge me $2.50 for it and I said forget it. I will never return. It should be reported to the HEALTH DEPARTMENT of how dirty it...
