Via la Casa | Coffee & Wine Bar — Restaurant in Sarasota

After reading an article in our local paper which piqued my interest, decided to stop by Via La Casa. What a pleasant surprise. The space is beautiful and inviting tempting you to sit a while to enjoy a cappuccino and the ambience of this little gem of a shop. Chatted with the owner and her dad while my cappuccino was being brewed. What lovely people. They offer coffees (the cappuccino was delicious), teas and an assortment of wine for those who visit a little later in the day. Enjoyed an egg bite with spinach, cheddar and onion that was scrumptious. Aside from the beverages, there is a beautiful collection of original artwork for sale as well as home decor.

Can’t say enough about our newest addition, so let’s support them with our business. We’re all looking for places to go that aren’t the run of the mill chain restaurants. This is one. Get the word out and let’s contribute to...

I used to spend $80-100/ week (went in 2-4 times a week to work from the coffee shop). All the servers knew me, and left the right tips. One day, the owner came up to me and asked if I needed anything else. I told her that I’m all set. She very rudely informed me that “I’ll be going out of business if you don’t order anything else.” I told her that I haven’t seen her that often, but I am a good customer of hers, and she doubled down and stated the same statement again.

I walked out and never will return again. Truly so rude and not how you treat any customer (yet a repeat customer who always orders food, drink, and tips).

Aside from this, of course prices are expensive (but I get it, you have to in order to run a quality shop). Aside from the owner/ this experience, the service staff...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was absolutely amazed by my recent visit to Via la Casa! The cozy and inviting atmosphere greets you the moment you step inside. This local coffee shop exceeded my expectations. The iced latte I ordered was served in a beautiful wine glass and tasted absolutely delicious. As I sipped on my drink, I enjoyed the stunning art on the walls and browsed the gorgeous home decor.

The friendly and welcoming staff made my experience truly special. They go above and beyond to ensure every visitor feels valued and appreciated.
