March 2021 Update: I'm embarrassed to say it's taken us a year to return. It obviously was due to the Pandemic but their food is so good we should've come back sooner. We did take-out this time since we're not fully vaccinated yet. We bought our usual Gyros and Backlava but also got a large Greek salad too. The food is still wonderful and large portions! They put in tons of meat! I'm impressed that when many other restaurants are making servings smaller this place serves you only the best. We won't wait a year to come back for sure! I missed Greek food until now!! 😊 We had wonderful Greek food in Michigan, moved to Connecticut for a decade... and are now residents of Florida. Finally found a good Greek restaurant (outside of the annual festival). Great food! Fast and curtious. We both had Gyros and Baklava. Words cannot describe how happy my mouth and tummy are right now! A must try.

My goodness 😮. I love Greek food, and I've had plenty thought out my life. In all honesty this was by far the absolute best I've ever had. The meal came with pita bread and feta, but just with the first bite I let out an audible "oh my God". I couldn't help it , I was legitimately that impressed. For my platter I had the option to go with the Gyro meat or chicken squers. I opted for the chicken trough the recommendation of the clerk since I always get Gyro meat anyways. That meat was phenomenal, as was the rest of my meal. I had absolutely zero to critique. Its obvious this place serves quality food, it was evident since they let me in early due to them preparing a very very large order for someone already ( see video) . Man o man. This place left me with a wonderful taste memory I will cherish for a long time to come. The negative is this place has now set a new standard 😩. 100% recommend!

Honestly one of the best gyro platters I've had in a while. The salad was incredible, loved the dressing, had a nice slice of beet on it, a hefty wedge of tomato, and plenty feta. Loved that they add a nice little scoop of potato salad too. The gyro was delicious and my only complaint would be that the rice was a tad too salty and garlicky, but not too much so that I couldn't enjoy it. The owner (I assume) was incredibly communicative to his staff, something I love to see in a kitchen. It does somewhat bring down the atmosphere a bit with the ticket orders being called out loud, being that it's an open kitchen/counter restaurant, but it's a great mark of someone who truly cares about what gets put out. He even came around to ask his diners how their food was, and it truly was delicious. Overall I would 100% come back here if I'm in the area again!

I was really REALLY looking forward to the opening of this little cafe. As a chef and foodie, Greek food is one of my favorites. The casual yet fresh and trendy look is great, and the menu just varied enough with the most popular American style Greek choices. The Lamb was cooked to perfection and the hand-cut fries were beyond good. The staff was friendly and most accommodating. However, the one real disappointment was, not once, but twice the Geek Salad. Greek Salad, internationally is known for freshness and great flavors; Tomato, cucumber, red onion, Kalamata olives and Feta Cheese..dressed with a Lemon, EVOO dressing. Only in America is lettuce used as a base, and that's OK. THIS small size salad was almost all lettuce, ONE wedge of tomato ONE slice of cucumber and ONE single olive, with thin sliced onion and green pepper added. The fine crumble of feta was hardly tasted as it is such a tiny crumble. The addition of the green pepper, one beet slice, and a small spoon of potato salad(?) was interesting and OK, but this is certainly not what is expected by any Greek Salad lover. This was real disappointment to what otherwise is a very nice offering of Greek foods. I would strongly suggest cutting the Feta and red onion in larger pieces so you actually can taste it, and surly more of the actual Greek Salad ingredients and not all lettuce. It's a challenge opening a new venue, and the first few months are important in establishing new customers, I wish this little place great success: but PLEASE, make an actual Greek Salad. I highly recomment this venue, and look forward to enjoying many...

There is truth in advertising with their name. They are indeed little. The location is tiny. They are seemingly understaffed especially during a lunch rush. Our table had three orders. The first came out within minutes. We were assured the rest was on the way. After nearly 20min. We inquired again only to have the runner go back an immediately produce both plates. Lord knows how long they were sitting there ready. We were given the excuse that were caught in the middle of the lunch rush but... We were the first in that rush. So either they are understaffed, slow at food prep, or just don't care. The chaos resulting from to go orders and people waiting in the dining room doesn't seem to help either.

As for our food. I wish I could say it was better. But everything was just decent or sub par. Which makes it seem a bit over priced in my opinion. The gyro meat in my platter tasted dry and barely hot. Again probably due to how long it sat out. The rice was nothing to right home about and the salad was just a salad. And the pita they give you is four small wedges... Which is tantamount to a crime in my opinion. All in all not impressed.

I honestly would have rated them higher than one star... But I have a need to be treated with honesty. If you know you screwed up... Say you screwed up and apologize. Don't apologize and then try to explain why you're not at fault and it's just the situation. It's your restaurant... The buck stops with you. So you get one star... And congratulations... Cause in the words of Chris Jericho... you just...

Little Greek Fresh Grill is a small restaurant located in the Publix plaza just off University Parkway and I-75 in Lakewood Ranch. I've been stopping by ever since they opened for fantastic tasting, fresh Greek dishes and have never been disappointed.

The venue features a counter ordering system similar to a fast food chain with tableside delivery (carry out is available). That said, they are not fast food. The dishes here are excellent in every respect. I'm a big fan of their Greek Salad - crisp lettuce, beets, and a wonderful dressing that is delicious without being excessively heavy.

The pitas are equally amazing. I like the chicken one, but friends have gotten other versions, all reporting it flavor-packed and perfectly executed.

Aside from the food, the staff here has always proven friendly, the restaurant itself very clean and comfortable - nicely casual. I will no doubt be returning here and plan to get some gift cards for friends. In sum, I strongly recommend a visit to the Little Greek Fresh Grill.

I75 travellers - this is a great place to stop for a lunch or dinner! It's very close to the highway, so if you want something other than the usual...
