This is our favorite restaurant for Tandoori Chicken Momo for more than couple of years.

They also have a food truck named Momo Grill Food Truck (1204 Lawrence Station Rd, Sunnyvale, CA 94089) only thing is they don't serve Tandoori Momo here & have a limited menu but plus point is u can order via DoorDash delivery app.

Unfortunately no DoorDash delivery for the restaurant Momo Grill which is at (12100 Saratoga Sunnyvale Rd, Saratoga, CA 95070) but u can do online order or phone orders which is very convenient too...

This time we ordered-

Tandoori Chicken Momo (8 pieces)- $ 15.99 Frying the momo after steaming the momo in clay oven it comes with two sauces which are very flavorful & have a nice kick to it. Momos are very moist & fantastic taste.

Chicken Chow Mein - $ 15.99 Pan fried noodles with seasonal vegetables and if non-veg - slowly grilled chicken breast. We love their Chow Mein !!! always we feel like ordering 2 of it can't get enough of it ....

We have tried many other dishes that they have to offer in our past visit dining in as well as take out like Lamb Tandoori Momo , Steamed Chicken Momo , Steamed Veggie Momo, Chicken Lollipop , Veg Kathi Roll, Chicken Boti Kabob, Paneer Shashilik , Eggplant Heaven, Lamb Boti Kabob, Chicken Fried Rice etc.... Everything tasted great , best part is u can inform them about ur spice preference & they accommodate it very happily.

Till now we have taken many close friends & family members here & everyone enjoyed their food as well as their service.

We have been regularly going here for our Tandoor Chicken Momo & Chicken Chow Mein cravings we have never been disappointed with their taste & quality of food.

We have tried many other restaurant but we always come back here. We love it !!!! Hope u too will enjoy it as...

We were going to have friends come over for dinner over the weekend and we thought this would be the best time to try out the many offerings from the Momo Grill. So we ordered

Paneer Tikka Masala - not too bad and was made fresh so the taste was quite appealing

Chicken Korma - now this was a great dish. The Korma Curry was spiced exquisitely and the chicken was cooked well into the Korma.

Paneer Shashlik - this was a bit of a let down. I think the dish was prepared well and the paneer was fresh as hell, but this is to be eaten as it comes out of the tandoor, else it loses its mojo. Getting it for consuming at home was not a good idea. Note to self for future runs.

Tandoori Chicken Momo - now this is what I would call a find!! Tasty succulent morsels of chicken meat wrapped in momo skins and then cooked in the tandoor. What flavor!! Easily the best dish of the evening

Tandoori Veggie Momo - the veggie option was equally tasty, but the Momo did not have the integral strength to hold up as a good bite. But a viable alternative for the vegetarians at our table that day.

Veggie Chowmein - a dish back from home which is loved when made well. A little bland and oily.

Chicken Biryani - was ok, nothing great to write about and there are plethora of places serving equally good, if not better and are closer to where I call home.

8.Butter Naans - wish they had the whole wheat alternatives. These were made of Maida which does not go well with my constitution.

Overall what they do well, they really do well. Like the Tandoori Momos. Will definitely be coming back for them!

And the pricing of the dishes were fair in terms of quality and quantity.

Try Momo Grill! You will find new flavors for which you will come keep...

I have a friend who when he says try this place I go, strongly suggested this establishment. It is low key, casual and serves spicy food, what else can you ask for? There is sign next to road but none on the building or door so you may have to look for it but do not give up, it is a gem worth searching for.

If the weather is nice you may see a bunch of people eating outside. You may also notice most of them have a glass of what looks like orange milkshake. It is a drink called "Mango Lassi" and in my opinion, an essential ingredient to enjoying the food here.

Let me digress for a minute to explain why. They server some hot stuff here. The heat from a compound called capsaicin. Here's the takeaway, capsaicin is not water soluble. If you drink water, soda or beer it won't make a difference. Capsaicin is fat soluble, hence the Mango Lassi which is made from yogurt and mango pulp. It instantly stops the burn and is very tasty and satisfying in it's own right.

It is casual here and when you enter you go to the counter and pick up a menu. You can order things now if you know what you want and this when you should order a Mango Lassi and it will be brought to your table, If you do not know what you want put yourself in the very capable hands of the staff and follow their recommendations. I was going to order Lamb Vindaloo but ordered the Lamb Roganjosh after speaking with the proprietor and was I glad it did. Also tried Momo's and garlic naan as a side. It was probably the best South Asian food I have had outside of San Francisco. I highly recommend it as worth a trip from anywhere in...
