Been here 3 times now. Both times before they officially opened it was lively, the food was hot, visually appealing and everyone was super friendly. Went in for lunch today, the workers are dragging, no energy, looked bored and didn't seem to want to be there. I ordered something different each time. First was the ban mi which was good, then one of their chicken plates, which had a ton of food - meat, rice, humus, 3 dolmades and some raw veggies. This time I ordered the lamb kebab plate. The lamb kebabs (2) were huge - larger than a hot dog, and very flavorful. It also came with 2 dolmades, rice and strangely cut up raw onion, green pepper and tomatoes. The rice and the kebabs were very good, granted I had to fish a whole clove and some other large seed looking thing out of the rice. The dolamdes are nothing special - seem to be out of a can; like you can get at Costco. The raw veggies, while fresh, were less than appealing - someone needs to work on their knife skills - everything was cut in random sizes with some pieces of onion 3 inches long. Just seems like the prep that went into the food is lacking. There was some kind of white sauce haphazardly spread across parts of the rice and meat; not enough to eat with most of the food, so not sure if was just meant to be a garnish, but it was tasty and I would have liked to have more. Both times prior to today, I was given napkins and flatware when needed for the food. This time - nothing; just the food in a bag handed to me. Thankfully I was taking this home to eat, otherwise I would have been out of luck as you can't really eat rice without something and the kebabs were not bite size. I didn't see who I believe to be the owners (first two times an older gentleman and younger man seemed to be directing and overseeing everything) - just a young woman and middle aged man working. I would really like to see this place be successful, but if this is the type of service and quality of food when the owners are not around, sadly this...
Read moreWe stopped by for the first time today. The employees were very kind and happy to help us with what we needed as we waited for them to finish our online order. They also allowed us to pick up our online order a little early! The service was impeccable. Great care was taken to ensure our online order was correct - no missing items and everything was correct which we really appreciate.
The food and tea we had was really wonderful. We enjoyed the chicken shawarma platter and the falafel hummus platter. the cream cheese wontons were really good as well! The banh mi left a lot to be desired. It wasn’t filled very much. There was no daikon - the only vegetables were two slices of jalapeños and matchstick carrots which was super disappointing. I’d love to see actual homemade daikon and more generosity with the filling. It’d be really cool if we could select shawarma or tikka meat as an option for the banh mi online instead of the typical banh mi meat.
Overall, we were really pleased and...

If you’re used to Asian bahn mi sandwiches and Asian spring rolls, you’ll be highly disappointed with this establishment’s version of bahn mi and spring rolls. Their bahn mi does not have the bahn mi paste/jalapeños, and I don’t think their carrots were pickled carrots, just plain shredded carrots?!? The bahn mi also came with a piece of ham sandwich meat?!?
Their spring rolls did not come with noodles and it was heavily filled with lettuce and 4 pieces of baby shrimp.
Come only for boba/ drinks, even though it’s pretty average. I wanted to try their brown sugar matcha latte but they were out of stock on their coffee/matcha drinks.
Also, there were two employees working, no customers inside, and the floors were pretty wet. We went in with our toddler. They put up a wet sign, but I feel like they could’ve mopped or soaked up the wet floors with two employees and...
