Carbone's Pizzeria - Savage — Restaurant in Savage

Some female staff not very customer oriented or friendly. 9/23/22. Staff should validate the phone number and the name when taking pickup orders. 45 minutes to make the pie and it was delicious 😋 After the reply from the owner I would have to agree he knows nothing about customer service also. The lady at the front desk has a serious attitude and did not even look for the pizza on the rack after I told her the type of pizza I ordered.She decided to say I do not like the way your talking to me . She did not try to change the name associated the phone number that is incorrect in their database. She also accused me of calling the wrong Carbones and then ended up showing me all the other orders on her screen so I had to basically guess what name they had it under. For a owner to reply to a customer like this without having the facts or one side of the story is pretty sad . More than happy to not do business at...

10 May 2018. Picked up an under-cooked pizza for second time in a row--the crust was white; chewy, doughy. Clearly dissatisfied I returned to complain. The young cashier stated with the fluctuating outside temperatures they have a problem with their pizza ovens and in the future order the pizza "well-done." What? It's a pizza, not a steak. How about Carbone's isn't satisfied unless the customer is satisfied. I can refund you for the pizza or bake you a new one." It's a 45 minute round-trip drive from Prior Lake to Carbone's in Savage. I literally pass over 10 pizza joints. So Carbone's allowed a clearly dissatisfied customer to walk away with an under-cooked pizza and did nothing to rectify the situation. After being fed up with Dominos and Pizza Man not answering their phone, we tried Carbone's for the first time. The woman answering the phone that took my order was so friendly and told me they just did things differently. Let me just tell you, they do indeed do things differently ... from the friendly service to the most delicious pizza and wings we've ever had. Did our pizza shift in the box during delivery, of course, do I care no ... presentation doesn't mean good food. But that pizza was delicious, I couldn't believe the size of the sausage pieces on our pizza. The wings were hot and deliciously spicy! They've earned a customer for live. Keep doing things differently, because it obviously is the best...
