Davanni's Pizza and Hot Hoagies — Restaurant in Savage

Just moved in to new place with no kitchen boxes, ordered a gluten-free pizza that came uncut. Apparently was suppose to use the silverware that came with my salads. It was a disaster. I ordered a side salad and the Southwestern salad entree. One priced nearly twice as much but they were the same size (small). Then got two cookies which were pre-packaged crap. Ordered online, the price changed nearly three dollars by the time the food came, and although the driver said the total, it didnt register until after he left. So the price change shorted his tip. I was disappointed and urged to write a complaint which I never do. I said I wouldnt choose their restaurant again after my experience. The manager responded. I was told I ordered two entree salads and that a 10 dollar off coupon would be in the mail. So if you want to spend 40+ dollars on two of those 4x6 plastic containers of salad and an uncut small pizza and two packaged cookies for dinner go to DaVanni's, where they also have great...

My girlfriend went here to get some food quick before she had to go to work, and we got there at 5pm and ordered and asked the cashier how long she thinks the food will take to be served to us, and she said “about 13-15 mins” and she had 30 mins before she had to leave for work. So we were sitting in a booth waiting for the food, and after 20 mins went by with no food, I went to the counter to ask how long, and their response was “I just asked and they said they have no clue. I’d probably say another 10 mins” so now we had been waiting 30 mins (which is when she had to leave for work, but we decided that she needed to eat, so we’ll wait for the food and eat in the car) we ended up waiting about 40 mins, for an order that should have only taken 15 mins and we had to leave without the food or apology for the waste of...

Food was good. Customer service was so so. We had a $3.00 coupon that we had received in exchange for turning in box tops to my son's school. It had expired 12/31/18 but we had just received it recently. They wouldn't accept it. Seriously, we spent $50 but they wouldn't take a $3.00 coupon off just to make the customer happy? That is not very good customer service. We'll think twice before we order again from somewhere that cares that little about making a customer happy.

Update - I contacted the email address below as requested. I received a prompt reply and was offered a gift certificate. The gift certificate arrived in the mail and was very generous. It also included a hand written apology. Davanni's did a nice job of making up for the poor...
