I got a custom bowl. I’ve been to plenty of poke places but it was my first time here. Clearly won’t be coming back. The bowl had expired mushy mango and barely any protein. The fact that you pay $15 for the smallest amount of protein is upsetting. The rice was clumped which means it was over cooked. Also the rice took up the whole bowl. There was no crunch and the sauce I got was wrong. I wanted spicy ponzu and I was hoping the spicy salmon would actually be spicy. But everything was bland and disgusting. I couldn’t stomach the tofu and the fruit with no spices. So much for paying at this horrible establishment. 🙄 also the fact that when I asked for the right sauce (spicy ponzu) they proceeded to make me pay is absurd. They gave me the wrong sauce!! I can’t eat bland food without sauce! The boba was ok but they got the sweetness level wrong. I asked for 50% and it was sweeter than my boyfriends boba. He asked for 70% sweetness. I still have to eat it though because broke college students just need to get by somehow. I hope this establishment won’t ruin other peoples meals.

They need a new IT person. I ordered Cucumbers on their in store computer and was given jalapeños and was charged for them. When I reviewed my order it said Cucumbers but my receipt says jalapeños. That's an IT issue they need to fix and is very dishonest. The bowl cost $20 and should be the correct ingredients for that price. The raw Salmon is flavorless and obviously has not been marinated. The lemon dressing I ordered was not lemon dressing it is more like straight soy sauce. My bowl just seemed flavorless other than the jalapeños I almost choked on and had to pick out. I would throw the food away but people are starvig so I'll have to force it down. I feel like the poke bowls at Hyvee are way better so I'll stick with that from now on. Edit: I ended up throwing the entire bowl in the trash. It was soaked in soy sauce and just disgusting old ingredients with slimy mango chunks, I was worried I might get food poisoning from it. Just gross. Never again.

Songtea in Savage was very good - the food was noticeably fresh and tasted delicious. My wife and I both customized our poke bowls - I chose salmon/tuna for my proteins and they had a large variety of toppings/mix-ins to include. The portion sizes were a great value and we both were full afterwards. For our drinks, my wife got the Hong Kong Milk Tea with brown sugar boba and I got a Four Seasons Lychee - both were very good and they also offered the ability to customize sugar levels. Overall I'd rate this place an easy 5 stars and would highly recommend it!

UPDATE: I now have tried the Poke Bowl several times and it is consistently good. My favorite is the Volcano Bowl or Make your own. The fish has been fresh and portions are good. However the my favorite mango with cheese top seems to have gotten a bit watery. Not near as much flavor as it had when they first opened. Still good just not as good. OMG this place knock my socks off! I think Song Tea & Poke is my new #1. I only have had it 3 times and all 3 times were consistently delicious. I had never heard of cheese top on my boba beverage so I had to try it and I am in love. I think it kind of tastes like a sweet yogurt. I like it with the fruit flavors. I haven’t tried the Poke. I will post an up date when I do try it. But for now, the boba drinks are the best. You got to try the cheese top if you like yogurt and fruit. The staff all have been super nice and...
