89 CENT TACO TUESDAY is a SCAM!!!!! I tried to order 89 cent tacos an hour before closing and was told they were out of beef tacos???? Really???? The manager Hunter said they would substitute what I thought was a pricy upgrade of chicken or steak for about twice the price of the beef tacos. Talk about a bait and switch tactic. The crew seemed to be more interested in cleaning and getting out of there than taking care of the customers! I have eaten at Taco John's in Burnsville many times and have never had a bad experience. This time, I went through the drive thru at 11:30 AM and ordered a burrito, potato ole's, and churro bites. The burrito and churro bites were very good and hot. The potatoes were undercooked, soggy, and lukewarm. It made the whole meal disappointing, because the potatoes are my favorite part of the meal. I think this was just a one time thing because I have eaten here many times, and this is my very first problem. Despite this problem, I still highly recommend this...

I'd like to know this restaurants policy. We arrived at 9:45 on a Sat night. Employees had already put stuff in dining room away and closed down pop machine. Nicki was very nice and apologetic, had to ring up our order on the drive through register because the front 2 were closed out. Didn't want us to eat in the dining room cause it was all clean and they were leaving at 10pm. The guy making most of the food kept muttering and swearing under his breath while shaking his head.
