This was mine and my fiancés first time here! The food was mouthwatering good. We had to take a moment to pause after every bite because there were so many amazing smoky flavors hitting our tastebuds at once. My fiance got a platter that had brisket, burnt ends, ribs, potato salad, and beans. I tried a bite (or two) from everything and my most favorite has to be the ribs. They came off the bone with such ease and they held the most flavor! I ordered to the pulled pork sandwich it was also amazing! They toasted the bun and it gave the perfect crunchy texture and flavor! I prefer a sweet BBQ and that’s exactly what they had. They have 7 different BBQS one mustard based, a few sweet, a mild, a hot, and root n que.
We got sweet tea! Butttt They offer beer made locally by RIGGS as well as other Beer and Wine!
The waiter was super friendly, polite, knew the place like the back of his hand! We didn’t have to wait for our drinks very long and food came out quickly as well. I would come back just for the great service!
10/10 I would recommend this place! I’ll definitely...
Read moreOur party of two visited on a weeknight for dinner and very much enjoyed it! Our server was Nevali and, while she was working by herself, she managed all of the tables efficiently and with very friendly service.
The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated, and each table had at least 6 kinds of bbq sauce ready for guests to try. We ordered an appetizer of fried pickles and our dinners were brisket, burnt ends and sides with cornbread for one of us and Texas toast for the other.
The fried pickles were hot, delicious and generously portioned. The seasoned ranch dressing on the side was the perfect accompaniment. The brisket and burnt ends were smoked beautifully and were melt in your mouth tender and juicy. It was fun to try the different sauces, ranging from sweet to hot. Even the Texas toast was flavorful with crisp edges.
Smoky’s is a good value with great portions for reasonable prices, friendly service and delicious bbq. We’ll...
Read moreOVERALL RATING 7/10 When we first walked in, the female host was not friendly at all. It seemed that she didn’t want to be there and was annoyed that we walked in. The place is very clean; the tables, silverware, bathrooms, and floors are clean. Our server was attentive, friendly, and accommodating. As far as the food; here is my review: the brisket was tasty but had a little too much fat, the mac and cheese was bland. The creamy cole slaw was very tasty with a good crunch. The fried okra was well cooked and flavorful. The pulled pork was good and moist. The brisket wrap was very filling. You get an option for either corn bread or Texas toast. Cornbread is very buttery and moist. Texas toast was good. There are many sauces on the table to choose from. I have included my bill to...
