Our second time to the sub shop on our way to the beach, because the subs are so unbelievably packed with food and so delicious that we had to stop again before summer is over. In fact the sandwiches are so packed, that getting one means having enough left over for dinner or lunch the next day and it's still good! So if you're going to the beach like us, bring some ice to pack the leftover sandwich for later. It worked out well for us using an insulated bag and a couple cups of ice from Quick Check. 🧊 We got the pulled pork Tupac sub and the Tombstone. We got the pulled pork last time and added the Tombstone as something different this time. Both were so packed with meat we were satisfied until a late dinner! 😋 Their menu has a huge selection of subs, so even going here on a regular basis it'll be quite some time before we've tried everything on their menu. They also have a good selection of chips and sodas you don't see in all the typical spots. If you're headed south on the Parkway. They're a short drive off the exit and well worth that time. So get down there and try one out.

Read moreAwesome little sub shop! First time going here but it definitely seems like it’s a staple in town! Small spot with a lot to choose from. There’s no seating inside and it’s cash only but the amount of special sandwich options they have are endless. You get a lot of food for a really good price too, I got a half of a linsanity which is a grilled chicken sub with bacon and a drink for $10. So much flavor in the chicken and great size sub. The lettuce, tomato & onion on it also seemed very fresh. Quick service too, I walked in and placed my order that was for a grilled chicken (not a deli meat sub you can pump out quick) and it was ready in a few minutes. They also have homemade noodle salad, potato salad and coleslaw as well as homemade desserts like brownies and banana bread. Super friendly employees, definitely would recommend stopping in for a sub or grabbing a bunch of food for a party or day...
Read moreBanging sandwiches and great service. They have everything you can think of between bread. Today I had one of their new(ish) menu items, The Notorious P.I.G. which is pulled pork, BBQ, cheddar, coleslaw, and pickles. Very good sandwich and one of my favorites when making pernil or pulled BBQ pork - salty, sweet, smoky and acidic. The pickles/coleslaw to cut through all that savory goodness.
My go-to is the Italian. If they don't do a good Italian Combo, I don't trust them. This place does it right. I have to have banana peppers or hot pepper relish on mine and plenty of that red wine vinegar. They don't have that pepper relish and I wish they did.
They also have great pickles so be sure to grab one!
I haven't tried any of the sandwiches that are served on Garlic Bread, but I am sure I will soon. I also would like to check out "the Moat" for...
