I was excited to try this restaurant due to the easy location and the high reviews on Google. In terms of location, the mall was easy to get to and there is ample parking. I did not dine-in, but I did go in to pick up the food and the restaurant was packed with diners and the premises were clean.

There are several positive notes for the food. The spring rolls and summer rolls were excellent. They were both packed with filling and the ingredients tasted fresh. The pho broth was hot even after traveling 20 minutes back home after pick-up. The sprouts, basil, and lime were all fresh and delicious.

Unfortunately there are some downsides I experienced. The bag of lettuce & cilantro for the spring rolls looked like it had been sitting for a while, as the bottom leaf of lettuce & cilantro stems around it were all brown and mushy. It was a small patch so I was able to remove everything else and thoroughly wash it. The container of chicken, noodles, and veggies was very small. When dumped out, it was about 60% noodle, 30% greens, and 10% chicken. That was a little disappointing for the price. I do wonder if the portions are different when ordering in, however I have dined in & done take-out for several Edison pho locations and found no difference between portions depending on your method of ordering.

Overall I enjoyed the food and would very much like to give the restaurant another try. Next time I would like to dine-in and plan to give some other menu items a...

My favorite vietnamese restaurant in NJ! She makes the BEST grilled pork that I've tried so far. And I've tried a lot. My favorite item on the menu is her version of the vietnamese banh mi.. Banh Mi Thit Nuong. It's loaded with grilled pork, carrots and daikon, cucumber, jalapeno, cilantri, and mayo. Absolutely delicious. Before I moved to CA i used to frequently eat here. I miss it. The pho, hubby's expertise is "ok." The rice plate that comes with shredded pork/skin, egg cake, and grilled pork was ok...nothing special..I was disappointed that the rice wasn't broken rice, just regular white rice, and it was super dry.

The food itself is nothing super special. The grilled pork is the highlight of all the dishes. Especially the sandwiches in my opinion.

I've tried at least 10 different banh mi sandwich shops and vietnamese restaurants in SD and none of them make grilled pork comparable to hers. At least not in the sandwiches.

The last time we visited family here was in April. We got to go there once for dinner and we took my Filipino cousin there for the first time. She loved it! Got herself a menu and said she'd definitely be back again.

All my friends and family that I've taken her love the food. And the owner is a nice lady..very friendly with super attentive staff.

Whenever I visit NJ again I will for sure be back again for...

It's unfortunate I have to write this review. My fiancé and I have been coming here for close to 4 years now. We celebrated his college graduation dinner with 10+ people here and spent countless lovely dinners.

Recently, we ordered a dish called Banh cuon, that came out horribly. There was slime still from the meat can container. The lettuce was old, and the sauce was extremely acidic. The rice crepes were very sticky and had no pork filling in them.

We knew how Banh cuon is supposed to look and taste like. If you google an image, you'll see it too. An image is attached of what they served us.

It was disgusting, and my fiancé and I have always tipped well here. We only took one bite and asked the tall man server to please send it back. He scoffs and says, "You ordered it." He did not apologize or ask for what was wrong. He walked off, and we were both in shock.

We paid, left, and decided never to come back. Loyalty is NOT respected here. They seem to only care about money and NOT the food they're serving.

The pho also was not as we remember it, so I assume the chef has changed. This experience was sincerely upsetting and honestly heartbreaking for me, considering we have been loyal customers here for years.

For these reasons, we will not be back, and I will not be surprised if other customers are turned off by this...

This is the best place for Vietnamese food. I usually have the salmon soup, the large size comes with rice and as take out, is put into 2 containers so it’s more than enough for 2 people. This place has lovely staff, they are just a joy. They serve you with so much respect and ear for details. I usually take out and only dined in once. People I have introduced to this place say they want to always go back. The interior design of the dine in area is fantastic but the bathrooms are not the best but manageable. The prices are very fair especially with the quantity you get. Overall, this is such a lovely restaurant.
