I wanted to love this place as I drive by it daily on my way to work. It’s one of the only local coffee shops in the area and I'm always up for supporting a small business. Unfortunately my experience was less then desirable. I walked in and the two workers did not acknowledge me nor said anything. They just looked at me. Their facial expressions made me feel like i was a nuisance by walking in. There were two other ppl ahead of me. I ordered an iced coffee and attempted to order a smoothie, however they told me they had no smoothies which I was suprised about as smoothies are listed on their website and drive thru board. I ended up just ordering the iced coffee and a cup of water. As I'm waiting for my iced coffee I was looking around the shop and the diff cool things they sell and tried sitting down, however the tables were dirty. I got my iced coffee, but never got my water. The iced coffee was one of the worst iced coffees U have ever had. It was extremely watery and didn't taste at all of the flavor I ordered it. It had a taste when the coffee machine hasn't been cleaned. I would have been up for trying it a second time, but the service was a definite no for me. I hope the employees get rid of the annoyed look they have and start being more friendly.

Very Cute Coffee Place to go to.I was in Schaumburg are, so decided to stop by this place. Ambiance- very cozy atmosphere. plenty of painting were hanging on the right wall, which were for sale. Not sure if it from different artist or from the owner. Left wall has a beautiful abstract pattern, which drew my attention. they have local artist line up ceramic stuff in one corner. They also have their store printed tshirts and sweatshirts you can buy from there. Coffee and food - They had plenty of coffee and snacking options. I got Feta avocado toast along with their signature latte- turtle Joe. it was a perfect match. turtle joe was amazing, worth a try. they have different tea, coffee, inusef energy drinks. They do provide subsitute for the regular milk. They do ask for any allergies before finalizing the order. it was colder evening when I went there but in Summer I want to try their smoothies. Size of avocado toast is big, easily taken as meal or as a shareable. Staff- was very friendly and was able to answer all the questions. Atmosphere- Clean and good vibes. some people were sitting to enjoy coffee while others sitting and working and some studying. Noise level- Low. drive thru avaiable. Will go back again to for sure.

This place was amazing when they first opened. Unfortunately, I see the millennials have taken over. Today I stopped for an iced tea. I asked for it to be sweetened with 2 lemon slices. The employee asked me “you want a whole lemon in it?” I mean seriously that’s a real question? I had to literally explain that I wanted 2 slices of lemon inside the tea. I get the tea-no lemon. The employee then tells me she took it upon herself to squeeze the lemon in the tea ( with no gloves on). I again ask for the two lemon slices. You can see from the photo, what an extremely hard concept this was to understand. Thanks for reminding me why I stopped coming here. *See the response below. Miscommunication? I’m sorry but anyone that really thinks a customer wants a whole lemon in their iced tea maybe shouldn’t be working with the public. The fact that they didn’t even address that employees are touching food without gloves on just goes to show what this place values. I assume whoever responded to this must be one of the children that work here. As an adult would be mortified at their employees behavior and lack of heath standards.

I hate to be the first poor review for this place since they just opened but my first experience was not a great one. I went thru the drive thru, waited in line for about 5 min, and was planning to order a latte and a mocha. They didn’t have their full menu up yet and couldn’t make a mocha which is completely understandable since they did JUST open. But as I was trying to order, I noticed that not only the lady at the window wasn’t wearing a mask but about 3 other people behind her as well! I told her that I understand you just opened up but I was concerned (as I have someone going through chemo at home) about everyone not wearing masks. (I did see only 1 person with their mask on). She replied with “well yeah we did just open so we’re trying our best.” ..I’m sorry, you did open up in the middle of a pandemic! You are in the food industry AND masks our mandatory right now in the state of illinois! She immediately grabbed who I assume is the manager while shouting “can you talk to her she has a chemo patient at home and is complaining about the masks”..this just seemed so heartless, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. I don’t care if maybe you don’t agree with what’s going on in the world and all the safety precautions we have to take but you are running a business especially one that is making food and drinks for people! The man I spoke to after was polite and said thanks for my feedback but I just feel like I was brushed off. This is a very important issue and needs to be corrected for the safety of not only your new customers but the employees as well. I ended up not ordering anything and they will NEVER be getting my business in the future. I was looking forward to having a local coffee shop for months now and after my first experience, I am very disappointed to...

Went there to get 2 Large Frappes for me and my girlfriend. Got to the window, they only gave me one. Then made me pull up front to come out and give me a small iced coffee. Told them it was a large frappe, came out and gave me the same small iced coffee that they just put in the blender. 90% of it was foam. At that point I was there for 30-40 minutes and the man in shorts had an attitude when I told them they kept giving me the wrong drink so I saved us the trouble and left. We went to the dunkin’ donuts next to it and got coffee there (correct on the first try, no trouble and the staff was polite). I wish I could say this is a one time occurrence but this same thing has happened to me here 3 times (getting a small iced coffee that was just put into a blender, which I could literally do at home). I literally don’t know how someone working in a coffee shop cannot distinguish between an iced coffee and frappe, or small vs. large. It’s sad since I tried supporting this local business multiple times even after horrible service. When then they get it right, their drinks are good, but it’s simply too much trouble and not worth the money. Unfortunately the incompetence is astronomical and I will not be returning and will be getting my coffee literally anywhere else. I should have asked for a refund but at that point they would have gotten confused with another simple request. I hope the business owner reads this and takes some time to explain to the staff the difference between a large and small, and how to make a simple frappe. Do better for customers spending their hard earned money on a treat for themselves, and work on not treating simple requests as inconvenient. Once again you work at a coffee shop. Please...

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I love everything about it. When I pulled up for the first time through the drive through, I could see the compost area in the back and it pulled at my heart strings, Green Joe really IS making an environmental impact that they claim to be doing - some places do the same but you don't see it. You can see it and taste it(not the compost, the coffee haha). I love that they have vegan and gluten free options. I love that the coffee tastes so good and the staff truly care and want to make sure you leave happy. I have visited often since they opened and will continue to drive out of my way past multiple other coffee chains to visit. It is totally worth it. Last week, my husband and I went through the drive through and requested a bagel. We did not even realize we came so close to closing time and the ovens were turned off. They let us know and we were totally fine without the bagel but they insisted we pull around while they heat it back up. We pulled around and waited just a few minutes before someone came out and asked if we wanted to come inside and check out the space and meet the coffee shop pup. UMMMM... YES!! We went inside and fell in love with the space and the employees even more as they showed us around and explained the local shops and artists they are featuring. It made my heart so happy to have a place that cares so much about the local community, the taste and quality of their products, and giving back to the community they serve and the environment.

Thank you for coming into my life Green Joe, I will see you every week.....
