For a Wednesday night after 9 pm, it was very busy. I was unaware that the whole neighborhood was going to show up at the same time. In add insult to injury, it seemed like all of the customers knew the staff and were talking to each of them for like 20 mins straight. Definitely different than the other ice cream places I’ve been to, where customers just get their ice cream and leave.
It’s located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. They do have seating inside but again the whole neighborhood was using them. They have seating outside and that’s where we sat to get away from the crowd. The service is hard to rate. When people stopped telling them their whole life story, we were able to try some samples and place our orders. That service was very quick and attentive. Prices were fair. They have a lot of unique flavors. We decided to get 2 scoops per person. We got the carrot mango Italian ice , raspberry rhapsody, espresso Oreo, and ube chai. The carrot mango was the best. I certainly liked the combined flavors and the taste was refreshing. The raspberry rhapsody was delish. Expresso Oreo had nice chunks of Oreo and the coffee flavor was very noticeable. Ube chai was okay. The flavor was more subtle. This is about a 4.5. It’s...
Read moreThe prices were a good price, but the kids that served us including the older lady which I think was the manager/ owner had a bad attitude. I came in with the 8 of us and that could made more money from us but their attitude was not great. I/ we felt rushed, the tall guy gave served one of my daughters but looked like he didn't want to serve us with his posture and watching his eyes. He truly didn't want to be there or didn't want to serve us. Everytime one of my daughters received their ice cream, they would ask "if we were done?" That would make anyone feel rushed. The only reason we chose to go there was of the reviews. That was a bad decision. I was going to comment to them, but my wife said to be quiet because they all looked like that they wouldn't care. They might wanted to not have so many people in the store like our big group, but there were 2 extra kids in there chilling/ waiting for the staff to get off work. We hung out after there eating our treats and I saw the 2 boys go with the staff to their cars. Anyone with kids, DON'T GO THERE. I suggest to train your staff and yourself better in customer service and relationships and to like your job or...
Read moreI updated the rating and added comments.... The original 3-star response was put in by my 11-year-old son because he was disappointed. He got two flavors, an Oreo and a Birthday Cake, both vanilla-based flavors. He thought they were both very bland. He says could not taste Oreo or birthday cake (which I think had sprinkles). He thought both flavors just tasted like plain vanilla ice cream, which he doesn't dislike, but it was not what he was expecting. I believe him because he loves Oreo and Birthday Cake shakes he gets from local places here in Ohio. I wish he had gotten chocolate-based flavors from Sprinkles, which might have had more flavor for him.
The flavors I got were both fruit flavors and I thought they were good. I was also very pleased to see that the employees were all wearing masks and that the store asked patrons to wear masks. In Ohio, this is rare since legislation passed forbidding mask mandates. We will probably return to the area in the future, and if we visit Sprinkles again I will try to remember to remind my son to get more...
