Manny’s Burrito Express — Restaurant in Schaumburg Township

We are regular customers as we love the food. The food gets 5 stars. However, the service needs some improvement. I had called in an order and I picked it up and when I get home, I see that an item was missing. It is annoying when this happens and it is not the first time either. It has happened at least twice in the past. I called them and the person talking to me was apologetic and said he would not charge for it the next time. Just don't make such mistakes. You never put in more food than ordered, so why do I occasionally see less than what I had ordered?

We will still be customers, but I will make sure that I check before I leave.

Update: I called Manny's this week to place a takeout order and told them what happened the last time and said he said not to worry about it. When I picked up, he added the side of refried beans but did not charge for it. Order was complete this...

I would have given 0 Stars,but in order for me to write a review,I put 1. My worst experience in a long time. I 1st walked in letting them I drive an hour to Chicago for EXCELLENT Authentic Mexican food. I said all these places around here, all the asada (steak) is fatty chewy. Worker who was a rude guy, said I hope you like them here. Well ordered my tacos de asada, sure enough, fatty,chewy. I said I didn't like them with 2 tacos left. He grabbed my plate with anger said too bad. I tried to explain to him something, and he just said,we'll leave it at that. I just moved to the area from Chicago. The city has some of the best food and I was missing it terribly. I ordered 2 dishes for myself. Burrito and Chorizo Torta dinners. First the chicken was cooked to perfection. Juicy and flavorful. The Chorizo had the perfect spice blend. The bread and tortilla was fresh and tasty in its own right. Definitely add the red sauce!!!! But one of the biggest stars was the beans. The burst of flavor you receive from this simple dish is definitely one of a kind in the best way possible.
