Prima Deli — Restaurant in Schaumburg Township

I was happy to see some thing go into that space that’s been vacant for so long. While the store itself is fine. What was disappointing to me is that we already have two grocery stores exactly like this one nearby. As far as what it has to offer, It is an exact duplicate of Krystina’s on Roselle near Wise AND The other Polish store, Deli 4 You at Roselle and Wethersfield Way. They sell homemade Polish food, fresh meat and conventional produce- but if you’re looking for a bottle of Heinz ketchup, or organic lettuce, you’ll have to go elsewhere. The packaged food in the isles is polish or Eastern European brands, Just like the aforementioned two stores. Since we already have two stores featuring these products I was hoping for a more general market, a Trader Joe’s, or a Jewish or Italian deli. WOW Prima Deli! As of now this is my go to #1 store ! What a cozy and comforting experience! And YES this is a great place to shop for everyday groceries! The food is delicious and the service is attentive and respectfull! Unique, authentic homemade cooked hot lunches- some of the best I've had. Their selection of desserts and pastries is simply phenomenal. I wish all the best for this hidden gem! not yet discovered by many people. This place is worth a visit if you are in the area. Prima Deli is now my go-to spot for special event catering. I ordered dinner and appetizers for my daughter's communion for 60 people. I was hesitant at first as this was my first time but I’m so happy that I did. The food was fresh, delicious, reasonably priced and the service was amazing! All the guests were complimenting on how fresh and delicious the food was, especially their salads, appetizers and crepes! I’m planning to order from them again for a baby shower.
