Come here all the time. Last time I order out, get my usual. Get home, not my order. Drive another 40 min there and back to get my order, wait 20 min to get my order. Hour extra. No apology, no comp. Just here’s your cold order. Bye. Some people have bad days, ok I get it. Another chance. I call today, called five times. Error message. Photos attached. Get there and say “hey, your phone lines not working”. Apparently if their numbers busy you get an error like it’s the 90’s they can handle two calls at a time. So I get up here, I order, ask for the salsa that’s oil and Serrano while I wait 15 minutes because I couldn’t order ahead, “that’s another 50 cents”, you can’t comp me a 50. Salsa for my having to wait? A salsa I happen to know you throw away in bulk because it doesn’t keep well per an Inquiry I placed about purchasing it separately. Jesus. The foods good. Service sub par, constantly, to say the least. I thanked her for the food as she dropped it off (but because I didn’t tip she just drops it on the table and walks off like she’s offended doesn’t say a word) I normally tip (not 20% because you aren’t waiting on be like a waitress is, but I tip 10-15% average for pickup. Just heard her thank the other guy who still might give her a tip in front of me and watched them scroll through the transactions to see the totals before her dropping it off. Steer clear. Good food. Terrible service constantly. I’d say they get my order right about 50/50. For the owner I have a family of 5, maybe 2-3 times a week me or them will order, it’s a fair amount of steady business. Your bread and butter I’d wager. Unnecessary loss of business for staff who doesn’t understand basic customer service. As you can see by the photos I called about 6 times over 15...

Went by today, it was mine and my husbands first time so we were pretty excited to try it from the reviews we read it looked like a good place to eat. We were seated after 5 minutes of waiting with menus then greeted by our waitress shortly after asking “what we would like to drink.” She brought out our drinks a minute later and asked if we were ready to order. We said no we needed more time. We had made up our mind 5 minutes later but the waitress did not come by our table till 20 minutes later. We had already eaten through one small bowl of salsa before she came back. She took our food order and then we didn’t see her for another 30 minutes later saying “I’m sorry guys, I lost your order and don’t remember what you ordered but I can tell them to rush in the kitchen to make it!” My husband and I were extremely annoyed at this point, we told her again and then right after we both agreed that the whole situation was ridiculous and decided to tell the hostess we were leaving and would just pay for our drinks. The waitress came back and asked if we wanted to pack up the food to go we said “no”and left. The waitress seemed more interested in serving the older couple behind our table and a group of 6 beside us. She made eye contact with me several times before coming back to say she “lost our order” she could’ve easily said something before having us wait an hour for food we never received. Not even the manager came to us to apologize. We didn’t have to pay for our drinks either. We...

First timmers looking for something different. Our server did not acknowledge us for the first 5-8 minutes after we were seated. She passed by us several times without a hello, or I'll be right with you... Nothing. Luckily for us, the kind woman passing out chips came over and took our drink orders. Once our server noticed she did that, only then did she come over to not say hi but ask what you want to drink.. thankfully we were ready to order and our drinks were already there from the woman passing out chips. Our food came quickly and it was DELICIOUS!! The tortillas that are supposed to come with the food did not come with the food. we asked for them at the end of our meal, again, another service issue.. tortillas were so good. I have zero complaints about the food. But like I tell my husband, when there is bad service leading up to the food arrival, it's hard to enjoy the food due to the bad taste already in your mouth. The chip woman saved us from having that experience. Our server could not multi- task, its simple as that. she had a table of 6 and us 2 and couldn't handle both. We will def be returning but not to that woman's section. Prices were very reasonable, the food portion was generous for the price. The restaurant was clean, floors were not sticky or slippery. The restrooms were clean♡ The Hostess was friendly and helpful. Wait time...

Just left Garcia’s after a great early dinner. We’ve been on the road since 9am and were only sort of hungry but after reading the reviews I knew we needed to go ahead and make our way in. Garcia’s is located in a nice part of Schertz in a modern well landscaped strip center. We were greeted by the manager who got us seated. About half the tables were in use. Warm tortilla chips and salsa were brought to us immediately by a lady who (as it turns out) does that and pretty much only that. I’ve never seen that staffing before but she stayed steadily busy and guests stayed content. Our server took our drink and app orders and was back in a flash. The queso was scrumptious. We ordered our meals and those came out quickly as well. All three of our meals were piping hot and came exactly as ordered. (We looked around and realized the dining room was now FULL) Enchiladas were delicious. Hubby had chicken with sour cream sauce, daughter had cheese with queso sauce and I had beef with queso sauce. Our charro beans were perfect and the rice was on point as well. Their homemade flour tortillas were a bonus! Too full for dessert we rolled out strongly considering their breakfast burritos for Sunday before we head home. Great job, y’all!
