Maria's Submarine Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Scituate

Was trying to get a 50 year anniversary shirt so I thought there might be 2% chance they have a website. I laughed at the negative reviews from Scituate non-natives. If you're not from here, don't go here. Please! Keep the lines down so when I come back to visit I can eat here 6 times a day. Subs are the best in the country, prices are from 1984 and if you're from Scituate, they'll remember your name when you're lucky enough to cone in once a year to see how many did you can fit in your belly, knowing it won't be enough to satisfy the cravings you get everyday at lunch when you're too far away. If you're not from Scituate, Maria's is lost on you. I hope they are rude to you when you show up in your yellow slacks, docksiders and lobster trap patterned buttoned down shirt and take 10 minutes to order after you've been standing in line starting at the huge menu for 10 min! ...

Lets take this in order... Pizza was good-cheese and crust. Sausage on it. I would not feed to someone else's dog let alone mine. Turkey sub. Turkey quality was good. Roll was great. But no lettuce? Why? Ordered an extra roll and 2 pieces of cheese for the finicky eater in the group and was charged $5.51. RIP OFF! When I asked why I was told I had to pay for a whole sub. Maria's Sub Shop is Amazing!! My mom grew up in Scituate and she said every Sunday her dad would get the paper, and then get subs for everyone from Maria's. I really wanted to try it because I figured all Sub shops were the same. BUT NO! Maria's is the best Sub shop I've ever been to! Remember NO LETTUCE ever and you'll be ok. Wish I could get subs there more often but living in Carver it's kinda hard to "stop by" Maria's on the way to anything! But thank you for the amazing...
