This is Colleen Tighe the owner of Scoops The Ice Creamery, @snowharrper I am sorry you feel this way about my store. The day you came in with your dog and a woman, I was working alone with no COWORKERS, and I stated dogs are not allowed in food establishments and you stated the dog is a service dog. I asked if the dog has paper work or tags and you showed a tag which I did not even read because I believed you. I served you with your dog next to you, and you left the store and sat at a table outside. The woman you were with ordered as well and paid the bill. She stated you have the dog because you have anxiety attacks and can’t leave the house without the dog, she failed to tell me you have sight problems as well . I wish you told me that you had problems with your sight because I would have helped you with our menu and flavor selection, but you ordered on your own very easily. Have been a customer for more than 30 years. First bad ice cream cake. Hardly any ice cream and so much chocolate crumb filler that we could not cut a whole slice without it falling into pieces. I called to tell Scoops about this. I was told to return the cake so they could see it and sorry they just reopened. I said I took pictures and they told me if I did not come in with the remaining product it was "too late" and there was nothing they could do about it now. I would post the photos if there was a way to do it. From my perspective tonight, my grandson's birthday, I can't take the cake away from the kids and wait to replace it but would appreciate an offer to return for another cake at no cost to prove it was not their new way of doing business! Very poor customer service tonight, so disappointed and will consider other options...

It is a cash only establishment. Makes it difficult if you're just decide to pop in and only have your debit card. I also believe they are extremely overpriced. For Colleen, ( owner of scoops ). I do not know why my post is coming up as only weeks ago, when I posted this, Snuffys was still there and my 18 year old was still in grade school… To be fair, yes, your establishment has changed for the better.
