First and last time here! Unfortunately we had bad service and bad food. We waited about 20 minutes just for someone to come to our table to get our drink orders. When the food finally came out, it was overcooked to where the rice was completely mushy yet my friends chicken was not cooked thoroughly. During our lunch, two buckets were placed in the middle of the restaurant due to a leak. Went to use the ladies restroom, opened the door, and water was coming out of the pipes and started flooding. Obviously there was a plumbing issue at hand. I informed the cashier up front about the ladies restroom and all she said was they were working on it. No signage, no apologies, no nothing. Should have been a sign on the door to alert customers. We watched our waitress go from tables taking orders to delivering food to clearing and cleaning tables all with the same pair of gloves. Our waitress did not check on us once or refill our drinks, but she had no problem bringing the check to our table. I'm not one to write reviews, but this experience...

Plus the rice and beans came out so like warm that the cheese on the refried beans, which is always melted at every other Mexican restaurant, was solid and could be removed piece by piece if you so desired. The chips and salsa tasted like tomato sauce with a small amount of onions in it. But still with that being the case, it was still the best part of the meal....

My mother noticed that every time the waitress would check on their table, the waitress would then go and lie down in a booth in the back. They also saw her holding her stomach, as if she were sick. They almost left but decided to stay and eat because they hadn’t been to Margaritas in so long. Today, my mom has a horrible GI illness and is going to the doctor for medications to relieve the symptoms.
This Margaritas locations has gone terribly downhill over the past few years, particularly since it changes ownership. The food is no longer good quality, the prices are exorbitant, and the service is subpar.
Now, we find out management is letting sick employees work (likely instead of paying for a sick day) and get customers sick? This is...
