All American Modern Sports Grill — Restaurant in Scottsdale

If your in the DC ranch area and looking for great food and an uber cool vibe, then this is the place for you. We stopped in a couple of days ago on a beautiful Arizona fall day and settled into the bar where Erin took care of us with exceptional care.

If you like a great veggie burger, you'll be happy and if you love wings like I do. You'll be in hog heaven.

DC Ranch is a cool location so stop on in and plan on a good time.

Todays stop was a complete disaster!

First off, we had to park roughly 4 miles away which to me, is a major no-no.

We sat at the bar and had to move because of 4 clowns (one in particular) that were so loud that I couldn't take the sound level.

I mentioned to bar maid (Erin) that we moved because I couldn't stand the noise level and she said they were he good friends and that maybe it would be better if we left ..... What an awful customer service level, which won't be for gotten. Shame on management for this.!

The food was OK I guess, a "C" grade meal, neither good nor bad but definitely NOT worth the trip or the stop. Too many other options to pick from.

I'll go else where next time and I'd recommend you skip this place as...

The food was fine, but our experience was very disappointing ☹️ we came on a 92 degree day. But according to the manager who only uses the Apple Weather app, it was only 88 degrees at the time of our arrival, so per his restaurants policy, he could not put on the patio misters. The manager did not come to speak to us, we were told this by our waitress who did not care to try to get the patio misters on for us.

We all know that the most accurate weather apps are the the Weather Channel app and AccuWeather. These apps endorsed the actual temperature of the day; 92 degrees. Finally, about 45 minutes into our experience, Apple weather said it was 90 degrees and the patio misters still did not go on.

Our service at the restaurant was also poor. Our waitress took 25 minutes to bring the bill after we finished our dessert. She was too busy socializing with a different table. At this point it was 94 degrees according to the Apple Weather app, and still no patio misters.

I suggest this restaurant get an actual thermostat so if more customers ask for patio misters to be turned on, there will be no dispute about the outside...

I used to love this place. Went there often and the food was always great. I hadn't been in over a year and decided to take a friend there for his birthday last week. It was such a disappointment! The French dip sandwich was always delicious. It was so good that many nights my son and I would get them to go with the sweet potato fries. I had one that night and it was awful! There was one large slice of beef folded in half and two or three pieces of onion and a slice of cheese on the entire sandwich. The au jus had a terrible flavor and the sweet potato fries were burnt to a crisp. It was $21! If you can't include a decent amount of meat for that price then charge a few dollars more and make it the way you used to. Otherwise don't keep it on the menu. My friend had the crab cakes and said he didn't taste any crab. He said they tasted like salmon croquettes. He also had sliders which he said were just ok. To add insult to injury they added a surcharge to the bill for paying with a credit card. This was not disclosed ahead of time. So sad to see this happen to a place that used to be great. I will...
