What separates a clubhouse from clubbing to house? About six gin and tonics, a strict dress code, and significantly more judgment when you miss the beat—or the green. Gainey was an experience—a gentle wind tousling my hair like a shampoo commercial, the satisfying clink of a 3-putt, and the constant existential crisis that is my pitching wedge.
Now, in every other setting, wedges are beloved. A wedge of crisp iceberg lettuce? Delightful. Wedging my hand into the cookie jar? Heroic. But on the golf course? The wedge betrays me like Brutus did Caesar—except with more sand and fewer togas. The Phoenicians, in their infinite wisdom, surely did not intend for the term wedge to become synonymous with failure.

It's only fair that the tool responsible for so many bunker-side breakdowns wear its shame up front. That said, the sand was immaculately raked, and the greens were lightning quick. 1 million out of 10....
Read moreThe course is exceptional and available to nearby Hyatt Regency guests. However the problem is the guests get mixed with their country club members that aren’t the nicest. They treat you as you owe them a favor while the guess are paying one time play fees comparable with members monthly assessments. I’ve played there at least 10 times as a Hyatt guest and a couple of times had serious altercations with their horrible members. I’m not the best player and what I got from them - go join group behind, go ask management to pair you with weaker players, stuff like that. My suggestion to you when you book T time demand that nobody’s behind you. There’s though very good staff members that coordinate well making sure you are not left behind. But there’s one or two gentlemen there like that. The rest is lazy, rude attendants like their old retired once semi-important mostly former real estate smugglers with a little retirement cash that make matters worse. Shame! Clean up - oust those, make the club with rules or stop sharing and live...
