Parachos Tacos y Tragos — Restaurant in Scottsdale

Blown away! I like most foods all of the time so this was a nice reminder that there are still places that can surprise you with food above the majority! What I mean is, this meal is one of the best I’ve had in a while! I assumed it would be good, I’m rarely disappointed with tacos and margaritas, “can’t mess them up” is what I say. But from beginning to end, every bite had so much flavor and tasted so high quality, I kept thinking to myself, “that was REALLY good!” throughout the entire meal. Our table shared some guacamole with break apart tortillas. I ordered ceviche, a sweet potato taco and a surprise taco - I asked them to just make me something. I don’t want to keep repeating myself, but I can’t explain enough how good it all was! Like, I’ll remember these tacos for a long time and measure every taco after this against these! Lastly, I have to mention the top tier drinks! The bartender is a friend, whose career I love to follow around the valley! When I first saw all the 5/5 reviews I figured friends and family boosted those numbers, but no BS, this food is SO FREAKING GOOD. We had the frozen Paloma and frozen hibiscus margaritas and guacamole and ceviche the start. Everything is fresh made on-site. The guacamole is made once you order it and not before. The tortillas and chorizo are all fresh made. We are already planning more visits here during the horse shows and Barrett Jackson at Westworld. It’s right nearby!! Best ceviche I’ve ever had! The guacamole was incredible. Handmade tortillas. The frozen Paloma’s are to die for. The food is amazing but what really made me write this review was the cozy hospitality that you feel when you walk inside.

The owner, David, was so kind to us and proudly told us the amazing story behind the name of the restaurant. His father is a famous guitar maker in Mexico! He even let us play one of his guitars. The staff were wonderful, everything was offered on time and food came out quickly and fresh.

Love the ambiance and the feeling of familiarity when you eat here. Definitely a must try...
