Señor Taco Express Scottsdale — Restaurant in Scottsdale

No picture on this one as my burrito was A Mess by the time I got home. I think this may have been my first time here or at least in a very long time. Late might at work and hungry so I was glad to find a drive thru.

I ordered a Chipotle shrimp burrito and, while I thought is was a little spicy, I'm a wimp.

If I'd stayed to eat there, it would have been perfect but I was trying to drive home and the burrito was HUGE!!

Needless to say, I could only shove the food in my mouth at stop lights. I was thinking it would be a wrapped burrito that's easier to eat.

From what I didn't actually taste to what I eventually sat and enjoyed at home, it was really good, so I'll be back..must not when...

The food is pretty good. Ordering is confusing and borderline not as vegan friendly as presented. If you want a burrito w/o tortilla, was told it's $2+. Just to not get a tortilla, really? Even if you don't want it as a bowl with the tortilla strips etc. They did not have soyrizo and seemed to have difficulty accommodating for a dairy free/veggie burrito w/o tortilla even given their menu layout. Then we ordered the grilled veggies. Should have asked what they were. It was basically grilled onions with like 2 pepper strips. My family got something here. I ended up with Del taco. Señor Taco Express has very tasty dishes. The tacos are as authentic as you can get and for the size and value it’s even better! The service is phenomenal with friendly, helpful staff and it’s extremely clean. The views of mountains sitting by misters are a plus, but if you can’t stay just go through the drive through. This is now my favorite place for a taco. The shrimp burrito is huge and delicious with many salsas offered in containers.
