Benny's of Greenridge — Restaurant in Scranton

Update!! I am highly dissatisfied I am not sure who likes to eat the skins and ends of fries only when all you ordered was fries! I love spending my money and not being able to eat the food! They were rock hard and all ends like the end of the bag of fries you dumped in for me!! Thank you!!! Seems as though you cleaned out the warming station and gave me everything that fell in there 🤢🤬

We found Bennys on accident one night because EVERYTHING else was closed. The food was phenomenal! It has the perfect cheese blend on the 12 cut tray! The French fries remind me of carnival carnival fries or fries you would get at a diner the cheese for the fries best around! My fiance had the BBQ bacon wings and said they were fire 🔥 ! The atmosphere is very inviting family friendly! Super clean. They have fantastic wait staff as well. The pricing is great!

I didn't get a chance to check out the patio, but there were a lot of people headed out back when we were there. The only thing that took away from a perfect 5.0 is the parking lot. They are so busy that the parking lot doesn't hold half there guests at once (just goes to show how good they are!) They don't deliver to main ave in west side that is only a .5 miles away from there. That's a real bummer because they don't do the delivery apps, and a lot of the time when I'm not out delivering, I do NOT want to go pick up my food! So I went to maronis 😅 other than that the place is fantastic! Wish they were open 7...

Ridiculous wait times for the most basic of orders always 45 minutes to an hour. Called to see how long the wait time was tonight. Lady that answered the phone was rude like it was a bother to even ask. Called Peckville location and was treated a lot better. If you don’t want to work in the food industry DON’T. Seems like there needs to be a lot of staff changes at this location. Foods usually good except when they burned my entire pizza where it was charred black and still gave it to me. I was given a credit on my account but it should have been stopped in the kitchen before it made it to the customer. Seems like it’s too much for the manager to handle. Last time I was there the only “tables” that were available were next to the pool table area where you can barely even fit two dishes. Waitress took 20-30 minutes to come over. How about getting rid of the pool table and putting in full sized tables instead since there’s a pool hall a mile down the road. Another time I was standing at the bar picking up my order all the bartenders did was complain about how busy it was and how it will get worse throughout the night. Hire people that want to work it’s a simple concept. I hope this location succeeds. I’m just sharing my last few...

Here we go....... First off, the Greenridge Benny's DEFINITELY needs more staff people. We have gotten takeout from the Peckville location numerous times & it never disappointed, Greenridge location....... TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!! We got a plain square tray, the box it came in probably tasted better & had more flavor, it was bland & had no taste, the double crust steak & cheese, same deal, bland & zero taste. We got the Benny's Trio, mozzarella sticks, onion rings & sesame terriaki wing bites, they put all 3 items in the same container, do the onion rings & mozzarella sticks tasted lime like sesame & terriaki. Then we got parmesan garlic wings & the traditional wings, both were over cooked AND, the traditional wings had a BLONDE HAIR inside of them, maybe I should call the board of health to make sure they are using the proper PPE & then see what the capacity is for that building, because Friday 5/17/24 I am certain they were over capacity for the fire code. Upon arrival it took 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge my presence at the bar to pick my order up. If this was my first visit to Benny's, it would definitely be my last, BUT, I definitely am not going back to the Greenridge location anytime in the near future, total...
