Wingstop — Restaurant in Scranton

Travelling here on a day trip. Gps kept saying turn right turn right. A woman ahead of me had 3 take out bags the girl at the counter just shoved at her. Seeing she couldn't handle them all. A box or huge plastic bag would be helpful. All the bags are paper here with no handle. Which I'm from New York should be used to that by now but I was thrown off since this is in PA. But I also thought how she handed the bags to that woman was quite rude. This is in a smaller plaza behind a larger plaza and is confusing if you're not from here. The service wasn't bad, wasn't sure what to expect. No wingstop where I live and the person at counter seems impatient. I wasn't sure what the menu was, should've looked better online beforehand. It seems they might cook the stuff as you order. The fries have sugar on them which was interestingly weird. I'm glad I didn't know that ahead of time. The place is very very clean. It probably helps there is absolutely no trash can in the place because it is mostly a take out type place it seems. A few chairs and seats in there but definitely gives off a take out feel. The soda machine is very small. Not sure what I was expecting but it wasn't that. The cocoa cola tasted weird but that's always a risk at the fountains at any place. They have paper straws also which I'm glad I didn't know about too. We were all disappointed with paper straws. Bring your own straws or don't use them if you're like me and hate paper straws. Overall, the tenders and boneless wings were delicious. The order was right, and the sauces are huge and very good. We ordered all sauces on side. The sauce cups are like 3 times the size of a cup of blue cheese from any other wing take out place. I would visit again knowing that the staff is impatient have the order ready. They don't seem that expensive compared to other fast food places.the rest rooms were extremely clean. We waited about 25 minutes for two of the 22.00 shareable orders which was plenty of food for the price. Kids not fans of sugary fries next time I will just order...

no matter when you go it’s going to take so long to get food. I went in and ordered a tender combo at 10 and didn’t get it until around 11:30 and it was kinda cold. When I went the first time I ordered the same thing and waited almost 3 hours. When waiting, I watched another lady order two bags worth of food and only wait about 20 minutes.. i believe they’re just picking and choosing orders to make instead of the order/time they were placed. They also prioritize online orders over anything even with customers sitting in the store waiting longer than 2 hours. I do understand that they recently just opened, but you’d think they would figure out some sort of system of making in store and online orders in a timely manner by now. Dave’s hot chicken in Dickson city didn’t start taking online orders until a few weeks after they opened and ordering in store went very smoothly, I think wingstop should’ve done the same thing. The ladies at the front counters are very patient and kind and I can’t imagine what hate they’re getting for something that can easily be fixed with a better...

Yesterday was my first time visiting this location. I drove 40 minutes to get there, and when I went to order, the staff member at the register had a very rude attitude, not just towards me but also towards other customers. She was huffing and puffing as if she didn’t want to be there. When the phone rang, she didn’t even acknowledge me or ask me to hold on, which came across as very unprofessional.

I went ahead and placed my order anyway since I had already driven so far. My food took about 35 minutes to be ready, even though I only ordered three tenders and eight wings. About 20 minutes into waiting, I realized I had forgotten to order a side of corn. When I went back to ask for it, the same employee gave me a nasty look for no reason.

I consider myself a respectful person, but the attitude I experienced was unacceptable. I was going to say something to her especially with how she was treating other customers but I just left it, can't change miserable people lol
