This place looked cool. My family and I were on the last night of our vacation and decided to visit Scranton. The atmosphere of the restaurant drew us in but the staff was pure chaos which was evident almost immediately. The waitress had no idea what they had or didn't have and couldn't answer any basic questions. She never checked on us and I had to go up to the bar to ask her for silverwear. The two brothers seemed passionate about the place but there was lots of arguing and uncomfortable comments between them that we and the only other table could hear. One brother made a comment about how his brother was talking negatively to him to us. It seems like the food prep area is in the dining room which was odd. We could hear every snarky comment and question as it was yelled across the restaurant. Everyone there didn't seem to fully understand their roles or jobs. There was confusion about what we ordered from all 3 staff members. The special on the board was not available. Most of the beers on the 2 different menus they were out of. Still the food was decent but we were just in awe of the hectic, uncomfortable experience. When the owner brought the check it was pure confusion and he had to verify a few times with his staff. Instead of letting me work the card machine he did it so I had no opportunity to leave a tip. Not that a tip was earned by our server, but it gets better. As we walked to our car outside of the mall the younger brother confronted us about the quality of the food and told us his boss (his brother) said they were the reason they weren't getting tips. I explained to him I paid with card and never had the option to pay with tip. He asked me to leave this Google review. The whole experience was uncomfortable and disfucntional. I hope they can figure it out because the place seems to have potential if the staff and management can work together on basics. The brothers were nice but seem to lack cohesiveness. We were only one of two tables by the way. The place was not even busy. Best of luck. Hopefully this feedback is used to improve...
Read moreMy Bestie and I are currently on a work trip and I couldn’t even wait to leave the restaurant before leaving this review. We were walking through this mall in Scranton Idly. A young woman (Fallon) saw us passing and invited us over. We had no idea that we even wanted food, however SHE knew. She seated us and start highlighting signature drinks and recommended food that she thought would resonate with how we were feeling. I’m just getting over being Ill for about 3 weeks. The Greeks salad sounded like a safe option for me. My friend got a Greek salad with chicken. Both salads were ABSOLUTELY TOP NOTCH. I ate the entire salad and so did he. The owner came by to check on us to ensure all was well! The ambiance was so serene and I didn’t feel rushed to leave. In fact, I’m currently sitting here way after the check has been paid. Sipping on this yummy Chocolate Cherry Truffle wine. I feel at home here. I will surely be back……THANK YOU FOR...
Read moreMy family and I stopped in over the weekend. I really had high hopes after seeing this establishment featured on WNEP, but was disappointed. From the moment we entered the owner was yelling demands at his workers, whether it be about cleaning tables or hearing the yelling from kitchen about how behind they were. It was not an enjoyable experience to hear this in the dining area...but a stressful one. We had ordered an appetizer and two entrees. My entree came out first..15 minutes before my husbands meal, and they totally forgot about the app, until I got up from my seat and reminded. We then received the app at the end of our meal. Our waitress never checked on us during our meal. We had to ask the other waitress for utensils and napkins?! The food was average but not worth the $63 for a signature bar drink, cheesesteak, hamburger and buffalo fries?! Will not return due to shouting,...
