I haven't had much of the new food from this place since they took over, but I did have the pizza which isn't anything like Zaleski Bros pizza, unfortunately. It's basic, dry, and the flavor of the sauce and cheese is mute. It doesn't stand out or even stand equal to any other place in the area, which is already over saturated with this kind of fare. It's a real shame they didn't keep the pizza from the former owner, it was different and delicious.
Update 3/9/23
I've since been back to this establishment after the owner's response, though I did not give the owner a call or a heads up that I'd be returning as I believe that any establishment that stands by their products strives to deliver a quality experience with every order. Unfortunately I was let down yet again.
The Scranton Old Fashioned was overcooked, dry crust, burnt/dry cheese, and tastelesss thin sauce.
The boneless wings I received were disappointing as well. The hot sauce was bland and not much given. The style of boneless wing was on par with Tyson breaded nuggets you can get at Walmart.
I wish the owner the best. I won't be returning nor recommending this establishment....
Read moreWow. I’m waiting for urgent care with a patient of mine. It’s around lunch time so both of us are feeling hungry. On the way back to the vehicle I look up and see this restaurant so I figured let me go in get a menu check the prices out because we’re right here. I use to manager a pizza shop in Pittston so I thought hell prices should be around the same. I ordered two personal pizzas one with toppings, gravy fries, and two drink I paid 20 bucks I’m just shocked. This was not only fresh and fast (15 minutes) but it was delicious. How ideal right. An amazing lunch much better then what I was going to do which was run to the closes McDonald’s and I would have paid damn near the same for two adult meals. Pizza was really good size too. I was imaging something a lot smaller child like portions for $7.50 but it wasn’t it was more then enough. I actually regretted ordering the fries. I didn’t finish either. The staff was super friendly and environment was very clean and orderly. Which is something I usually always look for when going in to a restaurant. Loved it and so...
Read moreNot a great experience with our take out order tonight. We ordered a margarita pizza and mozzarella sticks. They told me about 30 minutes. I arrived 35 minutes later and was told my order would be ready in a few minutes. I waited another 25 minutes until my food was ready. There is no way it took nearly an hour to bake a pizza and throw some mozzarella sticks in the fryer. There were two tables of eat in customers, and there was only one call to place an order in the half hour I waited, so it seems they were not too busy. If it's going to take an hour to make my order, fine, but tell me when I call. I live 5 minutes away....in addition to the long wait, our food was luke warm. How could it not be hot if it supposedly just came out of the oven? The pizza had a decent taste, but again, not hot. The slices weren't crisp, they were super floppy, and the crust was paper thin. Since I waited so long, the employee was nice enough to throw in an order of garlic knots. Thanks for the thought, but neither them or the mozzarella sticks were warm either. Overall,...
