We tried this place simply because we had a coupon but very glad we did!! Unfortunately we had to wait some time for a table and to get served, otherwise they would have received 5 stars. Also was very surprised that they don't serve a salad with your meal which is the common practice in literally every Italian restaurant I ever ordered a pasta dish in. But that is the ONLY thing I can say badly about this place. Because I truly enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff and, most importantly...THE MEAL!!! There were four of us, each ordered a different entrée. I had their famous vodka sauce over penne. I have to say that it was the best I ever had! And the others were just as impressed with their meals. I don't know about the others but I definitely want more of that sauce!!! Have already recommended this restaurant to friends! Recently my dad died and our family was looking for a good restaurant to go to after the service. Of course I recommended Prontos. So we made our reservation. They didn't know why we were there but you would swear they knew because they bent over backwards to give my family such a wonderful experience after suffering a big loss and for a time we almost forgot why we were together that day and I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for that. My Uncle loved his meal so much that he can't wait to come back! Once...
Read moreI was so disappointed with our experience here. My husband wanted some really good Italian food for his birthday, it had to be a Monday night which rules out a lot of restaurants in the area since they are closed. So when i found this place and read the reviews I thought it was going to be amazing!!! I had high expectations. But service and food fell short. The atmosphere is nice but service was notably bad for us (waited forever to get menus, when putting in our drink orders i tried to request an appetizer too but the waitress turned her head and ran away so quick she didn't hear me!, Also called ahead of time to let them know it was a bday celebration and i wanted to do a dessert with a candle for him but dessert came wrapped up in a to go box) And the food was just OK. not bad but definitely not great. We got the bacon wrapped shrimp which had good flavor but a lil overcooked and a crabcake app which was the weirdest crab cake I've ever had. not gross, just an odd texture- almost like a ground meat. and we both got papparadelle- me the short rib ragu and he did the pronto, both ok but way too salty. And my Martini was mostly juice and way too sweet. Overall not impressed- menu sounds good but wouldn't come back...
Read moreThis was hands down the best Italian restaurant I've found in the area. It's low-key and cozy, with cute ambience. Their bar is also so cool! I was so impressed with the food. My boyfriend and I ordered the Melanzane for an appetizer which was to die for. We also got the salmon carpaccio, which we thought was a little thick - it was hard to get it up with our forks, and we ended up cutting it with a knife. My boyfriend got the Cappellini Sinatra which was spicy but not too spicy. He wished it was spicier, I thought it was perfect. Very delicious with the capers. I for one got the bowtie pasta smoked salmon. I was worried the sauce would be thin and not thick and creamy, but it was seriously the best pasta I have ever had. I finished the entire plate. As for dessert, not so crazy for it. We split the tiramisu and it was just average. But the pastas were amazing. Service was great and accommodating. Very romantic cute place! Will...
