Ludlam Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Sea Isle City

DO NOT GO HERE. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. This place is not only expensive for no good reason but their customer service is by far worst Ive had. And their pizza is far too sub par for the way you get treated. I have worked in the food industry for many, many years and it is absolutely uncalled for to treat customers the way they do here. We ordered 2 pizzas and cheese fries and paid for both, about $64. Yes you heard that right, $64. When they called our name, they gave us 2 boxes—one with pizza and one empty box and cheese but no fries with the hope we wouldn’t notice. I pointed out the mistake and the guy at the window refused to even acknowledge me. Once I got his attention, he refused to give us our second pizza and fries and argued we never paid for them?? When we literally paid $64 not five minutes before? They are the rudest people I have ever met and a scam. Save your money and...

We were enjoying the evening vibe and dinner, until the servers accidentally served my gluten free guest a gluten-laden pizza. After she ate an entire piece they brought out the 2nd pizza and said, "THIS is actually the gluten free pizza....that one was regular. " While they did compensate the meal, they played it off and did not apologize. The manager questioned what would happen because of eating gluten, while my guest had to now deal with the physical consequences.

Mistakes happen, but these kinds of mistakes ruin vacations and require a bit more apology and care. Their lack of concern was disappointing at best. We will...

Overall disappointing. Two burgers undercooked, and a fish sandwich that made my wife nauseous. I spent 14 years in the service industry and I’ve never seen a medium well burger come out before a medium rare one (Or an entire order coming out one plate at a time over 10 minutes). Over the years this has been a favorite spot for my family but this one experience will have us not coming back here again as residents of Seaisle.

P.S. when a burger comes back out after being undercooked it shouldn’t be burnt to the point you can taste the grill on it...
