Walked here from the beach the other day after it started clouding up. We left all our stuff on the beach to go have lunch. My friends and I ordered hoagies, wraps and a cheesesteak. All their deli products are Boar's Head brand which is a plus. We didn't wait long at all for service and our food. Their sandwiches are gigantic and a half sandwich is more than a meal. Come super, super hungry if you think you can eat a whole hoagie! Everything was delicious and we had to get stuff wrapped because we couldn't finish it. Anyway, the sky got really dark and it started pouring while we were eating. It rained hard for about an hour. It was still raining and lightning when we were ready to walk back to the beach. The owner overheard us talking about going back to get our stuff and offered to give us a ride. I mean, seriously what restaurant owner offers to do this for their customers? MRS. BRIZZLE'S DOES! So, their very nice employee named Blossom, gave us a ride down to 49th Street so we could grab our stuff off the beach! I don't get to Sea Isle too often. This was my first visit to Mrs. Brizzle's and I will come back. I encourage anyone that goes to Sea Isle who loves giant-sized tasty hoagies, friendly service and owners who go the extra mile for their customers, to stop at Mrs. Brizzle's. To the owners and Blossom: Thanks for being...
Read moreWalked in late Sunday morning. Two other people waiting so not busy at all. Older woman was incredibly rude taking my order. Annoyed by my question, acting generally annoyed by my presence. Five or six other employees all behind the counter. Only two had masks covering their faces. One had mask hanging around her neck. When I had the audacity to approach the counter to inquire about my order after waiting a while, a young woman began to check on it politely when the rude woman began shouting sarcastically from the side that “her order is IN THE OVEN and WILL BE READY WHEN IT’S DONE!” I ordered a breakfast sandwich with Canadian bacon. I got a powdered or liquid egg sandwich with extremely spicy ham - I’m guessing it was cappicollo from their deli case. Completely inedible. While I waited I watched the older woman go from handling food to counting a wad of cash and put in a pouch. No gloves or hand washing. Two young women (wearing masks properly) were pleasant and treated me like a customer they were interested in helping. Others were completely focused on talking to each other, eating, and drinking coffee. It was my first and...
Read moreMy friend and I were visiting sea isle and this place looked super cute when we passed it on our way in. We wanted to come back the following day. People had great things to say about the staff and food, so we were so excited to try it! However, we were a little disappointed when we walked in and were not greeted as we were standing there for a few minutes, considering we were the only ones in line. When the older woman finally acknowledged us and was kind enough to offer us a menu, we politely declined as we had looked online & knew what we wanted. We were met with attitude and a rude look. After finally ordering, the girl who took my cash (as it’s cash only) took it with no gloves and then proceeded to make our food. We did not appreciate the lack of sanitation that was evident in this cafe. No hand washing was seen either😬 Hence, our review status. When we eventually did get our food, we were met with 3 leather hard pieces of pork roll, an untoasted stale bagel AND a large amount of liquid eggs. Unfortunately what looked like a super cute place turned out to be a not so great experience. Choose your...
