The food finally comes about 45 min after ordering but cold. (We were talking and didn’t notice the time until after the people who got seated 20 min after us got their food) The server was very apologetic stating she was helping with a larger party. Okay cool. We ask politely for a manager because cold pancakes are not good. The general manager Tish takes 10-15 min to come after being requested several times.
Once GM comes out we explain the situation. Her response stated rudely “I already took everything off” throws her hand up and she proceeds to walk away after saying it. We stopped her & informed her that we do not want cold pancakes and that paying was not the problem. Then she proceeded to say well I can get it remade if you want we say yes. She then walks away then yelled in the kitchen they want it remade so the whole restaurant heard it.
I personally felt some type of way for the way she assumed we just wanted a free meal and was okay with cold food. No apologies no other initial offers to make it right just she took it off and was going walk away as if taking away the bill solves everything and we would be satisfied.
Another manger comes over we explained the situation and she was very apologetic for the situation and the behavior of the general manager. Someone from the kitchen also came to apologize as well.
Tish finally comes back with our new food with a whole different demeanor being apologetic, trying to explain her initial rudeness and yet blaming the kitchen for the initial food delay.
But my problem wasn’t the kitchen or server It was the initial interaction with who is supposed to be the GM. The experience was unprofessional from someone in thats in such a role handling guest complaints but instead gives attitude and assumptions.

Read moreOn Sunday, March 23, 2025 we went to Seaford, DE IHop. We walked in (there were very few other guests in the place) and it took forever to stand and wait to be seated. Finally someone came and seated us. An employee who was sitting and eating her dinner got up and came to seat us and said our waitress would be right over. This waitress was named Dee. No one ever came back to wait on us! Three other tables came in and were seated and placed their orders…we were still waiting to see a waitress. Finally after about 20 minutes we get Dee’s attention and explained we had not even been acknowledged let alone waited on. This lady named Dee, who was off duty and clocked out, came over and brought us coffee, took our orders, and made sure we had all we needed!! She apologized and did her best and was so great. Again, this woman was off work!! The food, well mine was fine. But my husband ordered the t-bone and eggs breakfast. The steak was thin as paper and had wings! Seriously, was so bad it and curled up. At this point they had sent some donut things to our table for us. And ended up taking 20% off of our bill. Fine ok. We work hard, my husband 60/70 hours a week and eating out is not cheap. The lady Dee that waited on us was simply going above and beyond her duties. The manager of this restaurant and the waitresses who failed to do their jobs should be ashamed of themselves and take some classes from Dee on customer service!! I truly to not know when business stopped waiting on people, guests began being ignored, and food began looking like it was pulled from a dumpster!!! I can see why the restaurant was all but empty. Read moreGave the benefit of the doubt with covid....then it happened again and again. I made an online order. Got there in time. Sat in the spots tried calling phone didnt work. Had to get out the car go in my food is just sitting out. 2nd time same issue. Had to go in food is out done ice cold. 3rd time finally get through...im sttiilll sitting outside over a half hr..the food is cold and was obviously sitting. Woman says park at the door....takes 10 more mins. This time today my mom orders. I dont go inside place bc of our immune systems. Hers more then mine as I still work. We sat in the car almost a hr. I called 3x. We will be out shortly...2nd time let it ring...3rd pull up to the door. We got small shake for almost $5 mind you. Mcdonalds would've been better. What best yet...the ice cold nasty wrinkly un salable fries. The dried out burgers and the bun...smh what a joke. Once again it sat out under a heat lamp im assuming since the top of both my and my moms buns were charred. Had to drown the cold fries reheated in ketchup to eat it. That was horrible. They are slow and forgetful. Offered 0 apologies. Didn't try to remake that cold almost a hr sitting out food since they forgot we called the first time. Perfect waste of time and $35. I'm done dealing with them. Edit-ordered again today. Same long wait. Had to get up and go in. Stood for about 15 mins more waiting since it says do not touch wait...
