Liquid Assets — Local services in Seaford

Went into Liquid Assets about 3 months ago to get a lottery ticket and wine and left without either. First clue should have been the guy behind the counter on the coldest night of the year dressed in a t-shirt with the sleeves cut off. I went to the lottery counter and waited for the two behind the counter to finish ringing up the other customer. When they were done the shirt guy turned and asked what I wanted. I told him I would like a Powerball ticket. He then said "It's closed." I was confused since it doesn't automatically close until 9pm and it was only 8:30. I asked it didn't close until 9 and he again said its closed. I again confirmed the closing time. He then looked at the clock, said "...yeah, it's 25 till (9); it's closed".

This liquor store has a large selection. It's back by the Seaford Post Office. Plenty of parking, although navigation into the parking lot is not easy. I guess DelDot decided not to give them an entrance from the main road, so I normally go through the Post Office parking lot. The staff is not friendly nor unfriendly...they are just there. It's actually a pet peeve of mine that most liquor store employees in Delaware act like they are doing you a favor selling you liquor. I just wish that Delaware would finally allow beer sales in grocery stores because maybe these liquor store employees would get the message and realize that they should provide some...

One of the two larger liquor stores in the area. Kind of awkward to drive to. Either you take the speed bumps from hell or take the road that goes around the post office. No direct access. Always has a strong smell of pine or whatever fragrance is spraying out of the vents. In terms of selection, great selection of wines and liquors, can find almost anything and then more. Prices are OK, not the cheapest but not the most expensive. Folks running the store are always nice and knowledgeable. Would recommend for those looking for a better selection than our...
