To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to address several recurring issues at the Popeyes location in Seaford, DE, approximately 30-40 minutes from the next closest franchise. Despite being a loyal customer, I have experienced repeated disappointments due to supply shortages, slow service, and inconsistent availability of operational equipment and resources at this location.
On multiple occasions, I have waited 25 to 30 minutes in the drive-thru—intended to offer a faster service option—without any notice that meals are made to order. The absence of signage or communication leaves customers without the choice to adjust expectations, and the lengthy delays have never been acknowledged with an apology or proactive communication.
My most recent visit, just two hours before the store’s scheduled closing time, revealed that the location was completely out of side items, a core element of both combo and family meals. No alternative was offered to accommodate customers under these circumstances, creating a disappointing experience that reflects poorly on Popeyes' reputation.
I strongly request that this franchise owner and management team in Seaford, DE, undergo a formal review to ensure accountability to Popeyes’ standards. This location’s ongoing issues with supplies, service delays, and lack of customer accommodation threaten to erode customer trust and diminish the Popeyes brand experience.
Thank you for considering this matter. I hope for a prompt response and a resolution that will restore the standards we expect and appreciate from Popeyes.
Note: This is not a rebuke of the workers, but the owners of franchise for not providing their employees with the resources and freedom to make on the spot decisions to make up for losses, to take care of the public...
Read moreFirst & last time I'll ever go here! Had a "Dine for 2" coupon so decided to try. Had my 90 y/o Mom with me. Difficult to order since had server and another employee giving me different info. Finally got order placed. Received food, put it on table and went to get drinks. Then remembered didn't get any dipping sauce. Waited in line & asked for sauce, told have to pay for dipping sauce. Go back to table for money. Return to counter and told by another server that if you get tenders or nuggets you get sauce. (???) I said I did get tenders. My server said no, you got fried chicken. I said I ordered tenders, she said you got chicken. I said that's the wrong order. Then she told me I took too long to say I got the wrong order. Truthfully I didn't even know it, she told me. I made it clear, I would NEVER return to this establishment. As I left I spoke to another customer and he said he had the same thing happen to him and he didn't know he had the wrong order until he got home. I gave the order to another customer, left and went to Chick-fil-A where I'm never disappointed. It was a very expensive chicken, fast food dinner! WARNING: RIPOFF! DO NOT GO TO...
Read moreWaited way too long in the drive through for there to be only one car in front of me. Then waited way too long at the window before an employee came and took my card. Then waited way too long for them to bring me my food. They didn’t give me a drink and I pulled off before I realized. Went in to get it and there are multiple employees running around looking like they’re doing stuff but no food was coming out. The cashier who had just been outside taking out the trash, smoking a cigarette, and talking on the phone, was scooping beans while still talking on the phone wearing the gloves that didn’t appear to have been changed. Waited another 10 minutes inside with a single family ahead of me who had already ordered before I walked in but hadn’t paid yet. Finally got my cup and started to fill it up when the syrup completely ran out on the soda. Fries were just dumped in the bag on top of the sandwich. Sandwich was lukewarm at best (maybe because of the 20 minute process) and tasted poor. It will be at least a year before I ever try something there again and I wouldn’t recommend...
