During the Halloween Event on Main Street, we were parched and needed to refuel. With strollers and wagons crowded around this small store front, we assumed we needed to get into the action. For $11.04 you can get any 2 slices of pizza with a regular fountain pop! Initially service seemed friendly, the space inside is small, with barely any seats not to mention the line running out the door. We were advised to wait outside as he’d get our order out to us. Well, after 20 minutes, the line cleared out with no pizza in hand. My husband went in and a casual “oh I couldn’t find you” was thrown out. Well, interestingly we were waiting right in front of the door, but sure. A gush of disappointment rushed through as we opened our box. The difference of the bakes between the 2 slices were obvious. The dough for 1 was just gooey, pesto tasted off, honestly just an overall average slice of pizza. The double or triple baked pepperoni slice we got did have a redeeming quality, the crisped up pepperoni chips were delightful. I’d pass on this spot.

As a born and bred New Yorker living in SoCal, it's been difficult for me to find a good slice of pizza that reminds me of home. A Slice of New York in Seal Beach has nailed it. The size is just right, great balance of sauce vs cheese, and the crust is the perfect thickness. My only issue which is easily alleviated is they tend to pull it out of the oven prematurely, which causes the slice to be limp. However, all you have to do is ask for it well-done or crispy so the dough isn't soft and boom, you got yourself the perfect slice of pizza that as the name implies tastes just like New York. I also very much appreciate the decor, although they need more Knicks stuff in my honest opinion! Great slice! Can't go wrong!

I’ve been coming to Seal Beach for years and it’s become a tradition of mine to stop by for a slice and walk the pier! The crust is always super crunchy and yummy. I love buying pizza slices, especially because it’s easier to try out different variations that I normally wouldn’t get a whole pizza of. My friend and I got two slices, no drink and paid about $8. I think for the area and ambiance it’s a good price and it taste even better as you look at the ocean! I love this pizza and this will always be my go-to place whenever I’m here.

My first time and probably my last. To start off I was born and raised in NYC. 30yr plus and tbh their pizza was ahh ok but I wouldn't call it NY style. It was thin crust but the flavor, texture, taste wasn't there. The cheese tasted cheap like those none name brand cheese you get at Walmart and I asked for chicken on the whole pie which probably wasn't the best idea. The chicken tasted like it sat for days in the fridge and was defrosted with hot water and thrown into the pizza pic. Chicken tasted something you get at a elementary school cafeteria. This is my honest opinion from a New Yorker perspective. I honestly wouldn't get...
