We went in and were greeted in a timely manner at the “please wait to be seated” waiting area, and were led to a table over by the booths. The restaurant seemed to be about 3/4 occupied, and the staff appeared to not be very busy. As we were sat, the person who seated us ran off in a hurry without asking if we needed drinks to start. About 10-15 mins later the same person came back and offered us drinks.
From where we were seated we could see several tables that were helped, but looked annoyed about not having food. This proved to be true for us as well, we waited about another 10 mins before 3 drinks were brought to us and our order finally taken. It was an additional 30 mins before some Gyros, fries and a kids chicken strips were brought out for three of us.
When the food was brought out, we still had no silverware or napkins, and when asked it took awhile to get them. We were about halfway done with our meal before our server brought them to us. The staff noticed that our kid was shorted a few strips from the advertised amount, and brought us a whole replacement order, so that was nice.
The staff was friendly enough, but the kitchen seemed badly behind and unable to support the orders of customers. Our server, in particular, didn’t seem to have much customer service despite others in there knowing him well (hints to me he wasn’t new). The food was good, but as a whole, wasn’t good enough to warrant a second time there.
I wish this place the best, but they need to hire more help maybe? Either way, it wasn’t a great...
Read moreSooo... Greek House. Not to shabby. Waitress was fantastic. She took care of us and made sure we had what we wanted. Let's start with the appetizer, Calamari. It was very good. My fiancé and little girl have never ate it before, and they loved it. The peppercinis fried with it were great. Pimento Cheese burger was awesome. Tried the Lemon Chicken Soup and Pasta salad with it. The soup needs a little more flavor, and Pasta salad was... Pasta salad. Caesar Chicken Gyro with Caesar Side Salad and fries was my fiancé meal. She gave me the 5 out of 10 on the Gyro. She said it had to much Chicken in it. ( As a Carnivore myself that would be a good thing... in her case it was not) She loved the Caesar Salad, but said the fries were salty. She also had a dessert... Baklava. It was amazing she said and if anything she would come back just to have dessert. Our little girl is 20 months old and it's still hard to get her to eat at times. She had Chicken bites and fries. She didn't eat this night, but I did try her chicken. I must say one of the best fried chicken bites I have eaten. This was our first time here and with what we ate... we'll come back again. Try something new. Maybe they can impress us more...
Read moreIm visiting from out of town (Denver) and i came here with my mother and grandmother. I had the original Gyro made with lamb meat. It was actually very delicious and my lamb wasn't gamey in the slightest and was very plentiful, i had a greek salad as my side and that was very refreshing and flavorful and a good compliment to the lamb Gyro. The only complaint I have with my meal was there could have been a few more kalamata olives in my salad and my sandwich needed just a little more Tzatziki sauce (i will ask for extra on the side next time) but that is nothing major all in all i was very pleased and satisfied with my meal. Both my mother and grandmother had the chicken Gyro and they both said it was delicious my mom had regular fries which were decent but my grandmother had the sweet potato fries with marshmallow dipping sauce and we all absolutely LOVED them! What an ingenious idea with the dipping sauce😃 Plus our waitress was super friendly and the men’s bathroom was very nice and clean. Needless to say we will definitely be coming back to this establishment and absolutely 100% recommend!!! Two...
