Tonight was the first time I have tried this spot. I am from out of town so finding a good place is a challenge when you have to rely on the online reviews, I saw some negative reviews of this place but I wonder if they are confusing this sushi restaurant with the one two blocks away on the same street. The food was delicious and the sushi was awesome. I am a snob when it comes to Sushi so when I'm saying it was really good I'm not just saying it to be nice. The service was good, we got a new waitress who was working her third day on the job, I tend to go easy on new people. Instead of criticism I want to share what she did well for it being only her third day. She was very friendly and instead of pretending to know things she would take the time to go ask so she wouldn't be giving incorrect information. If there is one pointer I would give her it would be to come by the table more often and try to interact with and chat with the customers, maybe see if there is anything they might need from time to time or just have a friendly conversation. Schmoozing is a big part of the job lol.

If you can pay more and appreciate incredible cuts of fish you must visit this place. The yellowtail sashimi was buttery, and the tuna was rich and dark in color. Will be returning many times more, the staff and food are excellent. (Update): Second visit during lunch and had the Sashimi Platter. Was very quiet, the fish was delicious and buttery just as before and was served a few bonus pieces of sashimi.

This little hidden gem is pretty much delightfull. The staff is smiling and welcoming , the food is fresh and tasty , and the interior design feels clean yet has some interesting vibe while being in a newer building . Nothing fancy or really amazing , just a solid spot .

I don't like leaving negative reviews, preferring usually to just move on. But if a place goes above and beyond in their suckitude I do feel the need to warn others. And I live near this place and wanted to like it. But this place is truly terrible. I've eaten here multiple times, and it's awful every time. I made the mistake of trying their sushi. I've never had grocery store sushi as bad as theirs. And it was warm. I feel very lucky it didn't make me sick, but it sure didn't taste good. Even their miso soup, you can't screw that up can you? Theirs is literally just miso paste and water. Not a single miniscule piece of seaweed or green onion, and certainly no hint of tofu pieces. Even the miso paste tastes off. I don't want to know where they get it. And if you get a meal with vegetables, you're gonna get steamed, frozen packaged veggies from the grocery store that taste like rubber. No fresh produce in this place. They're basically the worst terriaki stand you've ever been to, but a bit...

I went there for lunch on my lunch break from work. The gentleman who is at the register was a little bit rude. He had like a blank attitude. He wasn’t friendly at all. I watched him make my sushi. I wasn’t sure if I seen correctly, but it looked like he was grabbing the towel, wiping the knife off with his gloves on while he was touching the food. because I wasn’t sure I didn’t say anything. Also, the food was not very good. It was kind of thrown together. The sushi was falling apart. I ordered deep fried rolls. The rice was falling out. They weren’t done well. He was making them without seeming like he was interested in making them and I like my food made with love. I don’t like people to make my food when they don’t wanna make it. I don’t know if he was having a bad day, but I know that I will never go back there, and even if the sushi was good, his...
