Fun indoor play area for kids up to 8 years of age. Located inside the Woodland Park Zoo near the food pavillion. It is free with the purchase of zoo admission. There is a cute mini door for the kids to enter. Be aware that crows regularly stalk the strollers parked outside the entrance, stealing food. The building is divided into several play areas, including active spaces for exploratory play, a stage for theatrical demonstrations, storytelling, puppet shows and video presentations, and a Project Place for guided learning. At 10:30 daily they have Creature Feature. Puppets telling a fun animal story. At 11:30 daily they have Shake Rattle and Roar. A fun toddler dance party. The play area for bigger kids has a mountain, rope bridge, rock walls to climb, a slide down the mountainside, caves to explore (with video's playing) and a 20-foot tree to climb up inside and exit via a slide. There is also a toddler area with an aquarium, a smaller climbing structure, slide and soft structures to climb on. There is a darling life size bronze baby elephant that the children love to sit on. There is a reading area with comfy chairs and books. My grandson loves...

Including a cave/wall area where they can climb and crawl over and through things and the Zoo embedded TV screens that play wildlife clips. There is a baby/young toddler area, an exploration area with different exhibits and a couple of times a day they have a Staff members do hands on explorations and presentation talks about...
