My daughter and I come here all the time. It's our go-to donut and ice cream place. The ice cream flavors are unique and you cannot find them anywhere else in Seattle. There are flavors ranging from kid favorites like cotton candy, bubblegum, booty pop rocks, birthday cake to the more adult flavors which I do not know because I like cotton candy! They have a big selection of ice cream flavors and less expensive than compared to other places. The older woman who works there is so kind, always has a smile on her face, and really brightens up your day. She is big part of the reason I go there. Once in awhile she will throw in a few donut holes for my daughter for no charge and I love how she always says "see you tomorrow!" They do charge a small fee for credit card transactions that are under a certain amount but I do not remember the specifics on that. I love how late they are open as well! 10 out of 10 recommend. There's a reason this place has been...
Read moreSome of the greatest doughnuts I've ever had. They're light, fluffy, don't go stale if you want to buy a dozen and save it for yourself over the course of days. I recommend the vanilla creme, éclair, honey dipped, marble frosted and maple Boston cream. There's also something special about their fritters and cinnamon coffee rolls that I can't quite put my finger on, but totally worth a try.
The service has always been a hit or a miss. The same folks have been there forever, and are either really chummy or very impatient. Don't take it personally. Just remember you're there for their doughnuts. They're like the Beatles of doughnuts; so, if you get them on an off day, just let it slide. Kinda like getting soup on Seinfeld. "No doughnuts for you!"
Similar mindset with the atmosphere. It's located in a very sketchy part of town; yet, it's centrally located, and very easy and convenient to get to and...
Read moreYou know when you’re craving a quality, generously-priced, classic donut shop, like the kind you remember going to during your childhood? That’s this place! It’s our go-to. The donuts are fresh and taste exactly like you want them to. They have lots of flavor options, even late at night, and it’s cheap!
We met the red-haired woman people rave about in their reviews (her name is Meekee, but I’m probably spelling it wrong) and she was sooo sweet. She keeps the doors locked after dark to keep the Aurora riff raff out, so don’t worry if you’re locked out - she’ll come get you shortly :) she also noted that they are OPEN TIL 11 PM!! (not 8 like described here)
This place has had some bad luck with broken windows, doors, and rocks being thrown at them. Please support this kind,...
