This place is the BEST! Lots of options for cookies, cakes, pastries, and savory buns. They also sell boba, but I prefer to get boba at nearby Rain Cafe then walk here for a pastry. My absolute favorites are the Matcha & Red Bean Bun and the Marbled Taro Bun, both of which are only $2.50 (great price considering they're pretty big and very tasty!!). They have heavenly sponge cakes, available as unfrosted slices (chocolate is my favorite, also costs only $2.50) and full 8' cakes with fruit toppings, which my sister usually gets for her birthday. My favorite is the German Black Forest Cake, but the Mango Mousse Cake is also pretty good. Next are the little shortbread cookies, which are sold in plastic cups. These cost around $4-5, so I don't usually get them as I find that to be a little overpriced for the amount. Still tasty, though! They also have adorable panda or pig shaped cake things which little kids adore. I also tried the pork floss bun which sadly I didn't like... It was filled with a weird cream, but maybe someone else likes it. I'm sure there are a lot of things I haven't tried, considering they have quite the array of treats here, but I'm sure that whatever you get will...
Read moreI love KiKi Bakery!!! We ordered birthday cakes and lots of breads and pastries from them. Have to say not a single thing I’ve had from there was a “meh”. It is that good!
If you want more selections of bread, go there early. But on the other hand, it might be scary because you might ended up like me with so many bread at home…..
Their toasts are great and not pricey at all. You probably should put them in a sealed container in the fridge after a couple of days since no preservatives toasts did not last long in room temperature. Their strawberry cream cake is the birthday staples in my family. $3 difference between the 6” and the 8”; plan accordingly.
Besides bread in a wrapper on the shelves, I highly recommend their chocolate chips mochi, which comes in the package of fives and looks exactly like some chocolate chip cookies. They were sooooo good. The Pork Flosses Mochi Cake, which are available only once in a while and sorta expensive. But if you like pork floss and the mochi-mochi-ness, it’s to die for!!! Japanese cheese cake and mango cream cake in the fridge were super delicious. Egg tart is amazing too! OMG I felt like I can kept...
Read moreKiki bakery has been my favorite bakery store in Seattle since I moved here. But not now, after pulling a piece of plastic out of my mouth. Food safety should be the highest priority among any other factors! A piece of plastic in this big size is defined as physical hazard. You really should pay extra attention of what you just put in your mouth, although I don’t think it should just be the responsibility of customer. Manager of this store needs to educate their employees, as well as employees should be cautious in the process of producing products! You are producing food that goes into people’s mouth, not just a laptop or a mobile phone, pay attention and be cautious in each step of the process.
I usually don’t like to be critical to any store or put a negative feedback unless there is something harmful. I know some stories can delete negative reviews in some ways, but if you try to do the same on this post, I will send out my feedback across any forums or social media. Customers, be aware of what...
