There is such a huge taste difference from the freshly homemade pho noodles here compared to all of the other pho restaurants! Pho broth was delicious and full bodied, does not taste like the diluted msg you'd often find in teriyaki and pho combo restaurants.
Fried chicken wings: not what I was expecting compared to most teriyaki style chicken wings recipe but they were very juicy. I think they use a panko batter for the crusting. Served with a sweet chili garlic dipping sauce. We also had their Thai iced tea which was a nice refreshing creamy treat. The kids loved the freshly squeezed orange juice.
There are lots of parking spaces on this property and the bathroom is available for customers to use which is outside of the store. This was a nice relief to be able to use the restroom while many shops don't allow customers to use during COVID19.
Menu consist of typical teriyaki dishes but with the most common Vietnamese noodle soup and rice dishes including banh mi! I haven't had a chance to try this yet since we came on a cold windy wintery day. I think the banh mi would be very handy for lunch options or quick grabs before a nice hike. They do open at 10-8pm on most days I might plan to do that next time to pick up banh mi the night before a hiking trip!
It's so amazing to see a new friendly Vietnamese restaurant open in the neighborhood! Service was fast. We will...
Read moreNeed to go back and try the pho in house (take away isnt the same to me) banh mi were ok, definitely worth the price but not quite what I was looking for
update september 30th 2022: finally went back for the pho in-house. Wow. Rich, flavourful broth, nice cuts of meat with excellent flavor.
In-house made noodles are a very nice touch, a good option to have available, but personally I think I like the rice stick noodles better- something about the way the smaller noodles carry the broth, and the texture of biting into lots of smaller noodles is very satisfying to me. Thankfully, they offer both options. I'm sure those rice stick noodles are shipped around the world, and waste lots of water in the dehydration process before shipping. Plus how often do you get hand made noodles in a dish as inexpensive as pho? Seems like a labor of love to me, going above and beyond which is always a good sign for the quality of the food.
The service is A+, quick and friendly, I ate to well beyond my comfort level, and then got a to go box and even a take away sandwich to dip in that delicious broth later. I think this is my new...
Read moreI went in there today 5/9/16 and ordered Yakisoba noodles. The guy behind the counter did not speak well. When I left I thought it was yakisoba noodles..it was not. It was plain yellow noodles. I called and spoke to the guy that was behind the counter and he told me those are yakisoba noodles. Wasted $11 dollars and the noodles and chicken pieces were disgusting. First time there and last time. Threw the plate away! I do not want a refund but I want to just warn anyone else PLEASE DO NOT EAT THERE! Gross, disgusting and not a clean restaurant, that should of been a warning to me. I am looking for the o star button, only one is the...
