MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Seattle

I had a very disappointing experience at MOD Pizza from the moment I interacted with the staff. The girl working there was clearly in a bad mood and took it out on me.

I ordered a cauliflower crust pizza, and when she added the sauce, she barely spread any, as if she didn’t want to do it. Still, I let it go. Then, I asked for a little bit of garlic and basil, but she threw a whole handful of garlic onto the pizza, completely ruining it. Even though I was already frustrated, I politely asked her to add more sauce to balance out the flavor. She rolled her eyes and reluctantly did it in the worst way possible.

When it was time to add cheese, she sprinkled so little that I had to ask for more. Again, she reacted with a bad attitude. At that point, I lost all interest in continuing to build my pizza and told her to just leave it as it was—I no longer wanted it.

How am I supposed to pay for something that was being made poorly from the start, with such a bad attitude? It’s not fair.

Honestly, MOD Pizza should reconsider hiring staff who actually enjoy their job and care about customer service. This experience completely turned me off, and I won’t be coming back.

Great place to grab a bite to eat during non-rush hours. The food is properly made and the service is great during off-peak times. If you come here during dinner time rush, expect a lengthy wait to not only order your food but to actually get it. Whatever you do, don't order online to pick up during the dinner rush. They have a tendency to get easily overwhelmed and won't have your order ready at the promised time. You're better off coming in and ordering in person if you have the patience.

Did another online order with this location, forgetting that I left this review previously. And the terrible online ordering is still the same. I placed and online order at 6:49pm and was told by the system that my order would be ready by 7:06pm. I arrived at 7:09pm and discovered that my pizzas wasn't even assembled yet to be fired. My pizzas was placed to cook at 7:40pm and received them at 7:47pm. Absolutely not ok. Don't do online ordering with this location. Order in person or...

There COVID response was so good initially but their transition is confusing and does not make for a safe or comfortable environment.

In transitioning from online only pick-up to both in-store order and online is confusing and frustrating in that it would easily be fixed with better signage, communication from staff, and sectioned off areas.

Initially they only allowed pick up from the tables near the entry door. Awesome. In and out fast. Now with in store ordering it is not clear where you pick-up online/app vs. in-store orders are received causing congestion all around the bathroom, beverage, online-pick-up area. There are marks on the floor showing 6ft, but with that store layout, the hightops beign stacked to the ceiling in boxes.

I get this is stressful and we are all adapting in the moment, but staff didnt seem equip to help navigate contexts by asking customers to move or rearrange for better traffic with limited close...
