After 3 visits, 8 hours, and $460, I can honestly say DO NOT go here if you’re a brunette looking for a balayage, you have a busy schedule/value your time constraints, or if you think of a salon visit as a ā€œsplurgeā€ to treat yourself. Long read, so I will post a tldr at the bottom. I came in with virgin hair to the middle of my back with a Pinterest full of cut, bang, and balayage pictures. After spending nearly 2 hours in the chair (not an exaggeration) I walked out with a haircut much shorter than I asked for, but was trying to embrace it(thinking maybe if I style it myself it would look better). I scheduled to have it adjusted and for a balayage. I was quoted between $170-230 for what I wanted. Visit #2 (4 hours) I was seen by another stylist Melissa. She took the time to listen and adjusted my cut as much as possible. Definitely give kudos for that. I was pleased with the cut, and the color (curled hair and salon lights) but was very shocked when presented with a balance $90 over my quoted price. They did reduce it by $40 but were super rude about it. However my balayage looked terrible (see pictures) and absolutely nothing like the pictures I brought in. So I gave them another chance and scheduled time for them to fix it. I played phone tag a few times before reaching out via their contact form, told to text as this was easier. Cool. Sent pictures of my hair with thorough explanation of what I didn’t like. Day of (2 hours, quoted 90 min) no real explanation of why my hair was so bad (or is this just their standard?). She proceeded to add toner to darken it. Well, now I definitely don’t have a balayage, just dark, damaged hair. I was also charged $40 for product. TL,DR: went in for curtain bangs and a balayage, came out with damaged hair (per the stylist ā€œfriedā€) that’s much shorter than what I wanted and back to it’s original color. Very bad customer service, terrible communication, no respect for time, and prices do not reflect the quality. I gave two stars because I respect the sustainable model, it’s easy to get in, and both Maddy and Melissa were very nice, but do not have the skills to charge what they do.

I’ve been seeing Melissa T since around 2020, my hair is the most stubborn mess and not only has she been able to bleach and dye it several colors that have gotten me endless compliments, she’s also terrific at educating you on appropriate haircare and what products fit your needs best. She’s also handling my Brazilian blowout treatments while keeping the integrity of my hair in mind. My hair’s still pretty healthy as a result of her expertise

They cut my hair shorter than I had previously requested. The cut is uneven (even after I pointed out and she tried to fix it). And layering left much to be desired. I paid $120 + tips for a super choppy haircut…

I got a haircut from Molly, and she was incredibly rude. She said ā€œohā€ instead of hello or any sort of greeting. Before touching my hair, she put on gloves and made sure to tell me ā€œit’s been a long time since I’ve had to wear gloves while doing thisā€, so that I would know it wasn’t her standard practice. Within the first few minutes, she asked me question after question about what I usually do with my hair until she finally said ā€œoh!! I figured out what’s wrong with your scalpā€ā€¦ I did not realize something was wrong with my scalp and had definitely not asked her. She also said that I probably wasn’t from around here, and that my pillows were probably moldy because I wash my hair at night. My pillows are NOT moldy. And if she had asked she would have known that I use a microfiber towel and my hair air dries before bed. I was fighting back tears almost the entire appointment. She also asked where I live. I told her I live in Greenwood, and she told me a story about how there were a lot of rats in the houses in Greenwood. Ok? Overall, just got the vibe that she was absolutely disgusted with me. She is great with hair, but huge mean girl energy. I’ve also gotten my hair done by Hannah and Jayne and they are both so sweet and...

I was so disappointed though the stylist were very nice Emma and Aimee, my experience was really bad, I booked a $190 single process and cut online description says this price includes the color, cut and blow out, I was seated late waited about an additional hour in between because Emma was taking care of two people, she has to reschedule me for the cut for another day because she has another booking, when I get to the cashier I made sure to ask if I was being charged for the cut and the lady said yes they rebooked me with Emma later on the week, Something happen and I had to be seen with Aimee instead (who was very nice) when Im "Checking out" they tell me I owe $150 I let them know I already paid for the cut and they tell me no, How is a single process and cut $340 I will say Emma who happened to be there told the person at the cashier to take $100 from her pay, but I still had to pay $50 plus Aimee's tip, and Im not understanding why I had to pay the additional $50. Overall a...
