My recent encounter with Domino's Pizza left me utterly disappointed and appalled. I cannot stress enough how strongly I would advise against patronizing this establishment. With a lack of basic hygiene practices, abysmal customer service, and an unprofessional demeanor, this Domino's franchise falls woefully short of even the most basic expectations.
One of the most distressing aspects of my experience was witnessing the unsanitary practices of the employees. It was evident that proper hand hygiene was not a priority for the staff, as I observed multiple instances where employees did not wash their hands or wore gloves improperly while handling food. Witnessing an employee picking their face and then proceeding to handle pizza as if nothing happened is utterly unacceptable and demonstrates a complete disregard for food safety protocols.
Equally disheartening was the abysmal customer service I encountered at this Domino's location. The employees were consistently rude, unhelpful, and made empty threats. It is deeply concerning when customers are treated with such disrespect and hostility. In particular, the older woman in the back exhibited an astonishing level of rudeness and unprofessionalism. It is bewildering to comprehend how someone with such a demeanor continues to have a job at this establishment.
The complete lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction at this Domino's location is truly disconcerting. The behavior and practices I witnessed indicate a severe lack of training, supervision, and accountability. It is evident that the management team has failed to instill a culture of excellence and customer care within the store.
Considering the numerous issues I encountered during my visit, I find it difficult to believe that this franchise is making a profit. If I were the store owner, I would take immediate action and terminate the entire team. It is imperative to prioritize food safety, customer satisfaction, and professionalism to ensure the success and reputation of any business.
In conclusion, I strongly advise against ordering from this particular Domino's franchise. The unsanitary practices, deplorable customer service, and unprofessional behavior exhibited by the employees make it clear that this establishment fails to meet even the most basic standards. Spare yourself the frustration and potential health risks by seeking out alternative pizza options that prioritize cleanliness, professionalism, and customer...
Read moreNew review. Same. 1⭐️generous. Updating my review to solidify how terrible this place continues to be after trying to order a Med Sandwich on New Years Eve at 4:45 pm. Order #451 that took over a half hour with me sitting there for one sandwhich. Customer service was appalling and unapologetic… claimed that’s how their “sandwich is made,” as if I wouldn’t know how it’s supposed to be?
Old review: I will never order food using delivery here again. The reason is not because of the delivery drivers... Apparently new management has the same problem as old management. I cannot trust that my food will be fresh unless I actually park myself at the location and watch them make it. Gross. I frequently have ordered in the past and forgot I stopped ordering through delivery at this location particularly because of this reason. I took pictures of my food today to prove that the delivery is no way near fresh food. Driver was awesome, so it's not his fault. The pictures will show that the vegetables are questionable; It's more like they took old or through on my toppings. In case you can't tell from the picture it's supposed to be green peppers and pineapple on half and banana peppers and olives on the other half. 10 minutes after I open the box the vegetables are already chewy and curly. After eating a few pieces the pizza has sat for 10 minutes, is literally like eating the cardboard. Forget left-overs. So I lose out on $25 because I can't risk eating the sandwich tomorrow. I would most likely wind up in the emergency room from food poisoning if I saved the rest.
( Oh and just to prove that I am not just bitching I actually tipped my driver before he even got here as well.) Back in my twenties I used to work at a local pizza place food chain for years and I know what old Pizza served looks like. And God help Domino's if they reach out to me with free pizza that I don't see them make. The only thing that would be acceptable at this point would be to get a refund.
If I had a car and didn't have to use transit I would take the food right back and dump it on the counter....
Read moreIt’s decent pizza at mostly ok prices. Gone are the days when it was a “great” deal to order Domino’s instead of real pizza, but (especially with coupons) it’s reasonable. This location makes the pies every bit as good as other locations do.
I knocked a star each for 2 annoyances. One is that after building an order, including an $8 delivery charge that apparently is not at all for the driver (wait, what? delivery is your business how can that possibly be an extra fee?), I learned they wouldn’t deliver the 4 blocks to my house without a $25 minimum. How can you possibly think it’s sustainable to charge $8 AND require a minimum? Ok, cool, I’ll come get it. Second, in their push for using tech they have both a tracker and a timer on the person getting to my car within 2 minutes. They even promised a free pie if they failed. I waited until the tracker said Complete. The thing was all filled in; looks read to me. I hit the I’m Here button. Instead of the 2:00 starting they tell me, well, we will start the time when tracker says Ready. Nope. Never started. Instead I waited a minute or 2. Out came person with some food; maybe for me but probably not since their tech told me I was still waiting to begin waiting. Turns out it WAS my food. I was parked about 4-5 cars from door; closest I could. Person would walk 10 feet one direction looking for my car, then 10 feet the other. A description was given; I was the only car matching that anywhere near the door. I might’ve gotten out and yelled at him, but per Domino’s my food was still inside waiting to be Ready. I have no clue if I should have been entitled to a free pie for my effort; they cheated their way through it. Mind you, I didn’t start off needing a free pie…they told me I’m entitled to one if they don’t do a job up to their own standard.
I never thought buying a pizza would be so exasperating. I’d say my expectations were too high but I feel like they are exactly what Domino’s has told me to expect. I guess they can expect me to just eat something...
