Emerald City Smoothie- Green Lake — Restaurant in Seattle

Emerald City Smoothie supplies non-compostable, non-recyclable utensils. I was really surprised to see this in Seattle. For me this is not acceptable and I will not be back. The açaí bowl container and lid were recyclable. But compostable containers are preferable and widely available. I did not even see a recycling bin in the store. We recently tried the “Energizer” and the “Lean Out,” which were both super refreshing! We've tried different flavored smoothies in the past, and they never disappoint! These smoothies have been the perfect pick-me-up treat after a workout.

The staff were thoughtful and kind. They made sure my drink was exactly what I wanted. The store is also well-maintained and clean! The smoothies are pricier, but I've found them worth the cost each...

The owners were super nice and also helped recommend smoothies that fit our cravings. Our favorite was the mango berry one! They were super quick and polite and we felt very welcome.
