🥘: 7/10. Came to Green Lake for Bridal Shower and my friend recommends me this place! We both only got the drink which is the fruit tea with Basil seeds, Pearl and Kuamalat? (Spell check!). It was wonderful and I am blown away by how refreshing it tastes! It was just the perfect drink for the summer! We missed the chance to get the banh mi because we are in a rush! But they do look very delicious! Will definitely come back and try the sandwich! 🧑🏻‍🍳: 7/10: We waited for a while to order the drink because we went around 6PM which they are all very busy! They are quite nice and kind! 📍: 9/10: Great location across from greenlake and located in a really nice neighborhood! I really love the decorations and the design of the restaurant and it looks wonderful when the sun is shining through the window! The paintings and also the aesthetics are something that I enjoyed the most when I visited here! The place is also very clean!

I am not the most passionate fan of Vietnamese food, and my last experience with a bahn mi in Brooklyn was not pleasant, but I followed a Fodors guide and visited this place while I was in Green Lake, and I was pleasantly surprised. Light soaks the space, the lines are short, and the server (her name was Katie) was extremely helpful and considerate. They offered the clear and easy option of not having each of the ingredients of the sandwich, from the carrots to the cucumber, which I greatly appreciated and might plan to use if I ever return here. The toasted baguette sandwich was rich and soft, and the chicken with which they filled the sandwich was extremely hearty. I am not sure I'm a convert to Vietnamese food, but I am a convert to this restaurant.

Very pretty atmosphere but was disappointed by the Banh Mi. We got the combo and pork Banh Mi. The proportions were not even between the veggies and meat. The pate, meat, and sauce ended up all on one side while the veggies were on the other and it didn't feel too well distributed to me. The basil cilantro aioli was interesting, but I didn't think it complemented the taste of the grilled pork or the cold cuts too well. The Banh Mi was 13.50 each after tax and tip which yeah I get that we are at Green Lake but still is a steep price for a Banh Mi. We also tried the boba and coffee and it was okay, not very flavorful and had hard boba.

Tried this place for the first time September 30th of 2025, one day later I am still feeling the effects. Attempted to place an order online; visiting the restaurant’s preferred ordering platform “Clover” yielded no success, instead I opted to visit in store to place my order. Entered to find other customers but no line. Thrilled, I placed my order with a somewhat friendly employee, only to find the charm immediately turned off once I was met with the task of selecting my tip. I am handed a receipt, and I move off to the side. No sooner than the time it took for me to get my wallet back in to my bag, my order number is called…in less time than it takes to receive a McChicken at McDonalds. Uh-oh. A short trip home later and I am unwrapping my Banh Mi. The store has not only gone out of their way to custom print wrappers for their sandwich, but they BOLDLY inscribed the words “The Best Vietnamese Sandwich in Town.” I unwrap what looks like a generous sandwich to find the doughiest, most anemic french loaves I have ever seen; no suggestion of “crumb” or “flake.” I take my first bite and it’s not only an overly soft/sweet taste of flavorless bread, but a VERY heavy serving of pickled carrots and daikon. Ordered what I assumed would be a GRILLED pork as a protein/meat and instead found what was a sautéed or stewed meat? At any rate, the sandwich was very lackluster. It’s not an expensive meal, but what it “costs you” is an entirely different argument. At this point in a negative review, a critic or customer might suggest to you their recommendation of what they consider to be a better restaurant so you can gain insight into their taste, but I can safely say ANY OTHER BANH MI is a better banh mi than this one. I’m physically sick and regretting...

SOOO good that we wanted to order more sandwiches after finishing ours. We resisted the urge and plan to revisit in the near future instead. I had the pork and my daughter had the beef option. They were equally delicious and we both agreed they are the best Bahn Mi sandwiches we have ever had. The bread was warm, a little toasty and tasted fresh. The basil cilantro sauce put the flavors over the top. We also had a couple drinks (crème brulee and coconut coffee) which were great as well. I didn’t feel the price was anything outrageous for the time we live in, pretty common. Customer service was quick and friendly. The only challenge was parking but the walk leading up to the place and leaving was nice… it was still worth a visit regardless. My only wish is that I had to place closer to my home… but then again I would be in...
