Pacha is everything I have been praying for to arrive in Green Lake since moving here about 4 years ago. Green Lake has always felt like it was missing 1 thing to bring it together and Pacha fills that gap. The level of intentionality and heart in the design is exceptional. Often I have found cafes in Seattle can have a manufactured feel to them….maybe Instagram worthy or a place to remote work but there often is a lack of authenticity and warmth. Pacha on the other hand seems and feels like a place that is a culmination of experiences by the owners that birthed something new. I remember when it was an old hot pot restaurant and to see the level of intentionality to the design, color and layout in this space is pretty remarkable considering where it was just a few months ago. Additionally the layout of the tables, the fire place and bar are very well thought out to facilitate community and deepening of relationships. You could work here but you would probably be texting friends on the side asking them to come by and connect.
They also carry Idle Hands coffee which is a great roaster that I really like and this morning’s dry cappuccino was exceptional 👌🏻.
Lastly before they opened their doors today I was walking by this past weekend and as I was peering in to see what it was i saw a few people inside setting up and one of the people, Zoey, looked over and I waved. A few seconds later they came out and introduced themselves as one of the creators of this space and gave me a tour of it. As they walked me through they shared their passion for the place, peoples health and for people to have a place to connect. I share this story for two reasons. 1) what spoke to me is if the creator of the space can take a few minutes out of their day to invite a neighbor in when they are about to have their opening day, then I think it shows the heart and DNA infused into this space 2) I read the website’s mission statement previously and how they wanted to be a place for people to connect and to see this go from words on a webpage to living breathing action I think supports what Pacha is and will be in GreenLake… it’s a “third place” and I look forward to making it my...
Read moreI agree with another reviewer that Pacha Collective fills a restaurant niche previously missing in Greenlake: healthy, somewhat quirky, and reasonably priced.
The menu consists of mainly of savory bowls and sandwiches. There does seem to be a vegetarian emphasis though not exclusively. Some options are nicely complimented with Asian and Mexican components. There are different menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
There's a full espresso bar and there are several teas and caffeine free and light caffeine options. A nice assortment of cocktails and mocktails (non-alcoholic). Beer and wine options are somewhat limited but good.
As is the trend with many newer restaurants items are ordered at the counter and brought to your table. While this is efficient and helps keep prices reasonable at other restaurants sometimes the experience feels somewhat procedural. That's not the case with Pacha which manages to be efficient, warm, and hospitable. The interior seems to have a subtle SW motif and the VW van outfitted with a table is a nice touch. The staff is friendly, helpful,...

I was delighted to see all of this multi use, real silverware and mugwear in your café.
By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish, and it means a lot to me as a customer to support businesses that are taking clear, practical steps to mitigate the plastic pollution crisis. Especially in this glorious waterfront city. What a way to pay it forward to the local ecosystems and honor the past and future of this city.
I love that you have real cups at the water refill station, and that my absolutely delicious smoothie came in a reusable bowl with a real spoon.
Truly, it sounds silly, but this sets a great example for what is completely possible for other Seattle cafés to pull off. Even if in incremental ways. Single used plastics did not enter the main stream until the 1970s, and you are reminding us that in modern day, it is completely possible without plastic.
Thank you again for letting me enjoy a trash free meal. It was absolutely delicious, the service was kind, and your intentionality...
