got the King Kong Sushi roll I really enjoyed this meal The sushi roll was pretty large - I did manage to finish the whole thing but it was certainly quite filling I found the surrounding rice to be really good - it was the perfect texture and taste of what I think sushi rice should be. Was just hard enough The unagi topping with the sauce was highly enjoyable as well The part that I really liked ws the cream cheese contained in the middle of the roll This added a really great flavor and combined everything else inside the roll really well The one thing I wish was that shrimp tempura was included in every piece - rather than just at the beginning and end of the roll. If it was there it wasn't very noticeable at all Overall, this was quite good - it was healthy, really flavorful, and filling. 8.15/10

love it! such a hidden gem! Love the jazz music. Love how relaxing the place is. Love their service. Love how not crowded it is. The sushi is nothing special. But the price is fairs. the unagi combo is so good! Don’t get afraid by the price. Although it’s almost 50, but it’s a combo for two ppl and their portion is quite huge. I finished the unagi in three meals. But I feel you can at least eat them for two meals. So full! But so safisfied. Only cons is the parking if you don’t live nearby. Also you may not even notice that this is a restaurant as all the nearby stores are sporty goods. They don’t have a clear sign to show you what they provide.

TLDR: mistake on one of our items, waited 20minutes then took another 20 minutes to replace due to poor communication with the kitchen, canceled it and didnt offer to comp anything.

slightly disappointed in the service of this place. Only two other tables when we walked in. We ordered a couple rolls and the bulgogi bowl. The rolls came fairly quickly but the bowl came last and was brought out as bulgogi ROLLS by accident. Of course it's understandable since bowl sounds like roll. So it was not a problem they took it back to work on the bowl. About twenty minutes went by, meanwhile lots of other rolls are being served all around us, the waiter comes over and says there is a mistake and it would be another 20 minutes for the bowl to be ready. (The bowl doesn't seem complicated so I'm not sure how it takes that long while complicated sushi rolls are flying out of the kitchen). So we canceled the order since everyone was already done eating. Oh I also don't eat sushi and the bulgogi was the only thing on the menu. Luckily I wasn't very hungry anyways I guess. But to top it off they didn't even offer to compensate for all that, which seems a little rough.

The atmosphere was very nice when we walked in. Not busy on a weeknight. The catering to children with toys, books, and plates, cup, chopsticks was also a nice surprise! Big selection of...

I was really excited to try this place since it’s close to my house and the menu has a lot of vegan options. We arrived a little after 4:15 and there were probably 5 tables occupied but the restaurant was certainly not full. We placed our order right away which was 2 apps, 2 drinks and 3 sushi rolls (and we were planning to order more). There was only 1 server working at this time and he seemed pretty busy/stressed. Things were going fine, we first got miso soup and then about 15 mins later edamame/drinks. Probably 45 minutes went by until we noticed a table that was seated after us had all of their food and we still hadn’t received our sushi! By this time they had more servers on the floor and I think they realized our table was forgotten about. The sushi came out soon after this but we had been sitting there for an hour at this point and most of the other tables had left by then. The sushi was fresh and pretty tasty but there wasn’t much taste difference between the Vegan Cali Roll and the Vegan Crunchy Roll which was disappointing. We left feeling hungry and frustrated since the service was lacking and we were waiting so long for our food. Although the food was fresh and the atmosphere was nice, unfortunately we probably...

The first time we ordered from Greenlake Sushi and Roll was on a Sunday because I Love Sushi was closed. Celebrating a belated New Years gathering, we splurged and got Greenlake Platter. Given that it was okay and closer for pickup, we were satisfied. So it was with much disappointment, when we got our second take out order for Lunar New Year's celebration. Instead of getting two round platters, we got only one and the others in square ones with mushed up rolls. Salad greens with pansies were scattered here and there without it being aesthetically pleasing. I had to rearrange the rolls on my own platters to make them more presentable. The Edemames came in three containers, unequally filled. The tsukemono (both times) had very little pickled taste. The large portion was very small on the second order. On top to that, the order was not ready and my son waited 20 minutes while the order was finished. We won't eat sushi on Sundays when I Love...
