I would have given 5 stars for this Jersey Mike's store, but my order was missing a sub sandwich and I had asked to buy a side of bacon for my dog and the first time I had been to this store, I was able to buy a side of bacon and was given 7/8 pieces. As this was my second time at this store, I asked and bought some, but the employee gave me 2 broken up pieces. There is another Jersey Mike's by Costco in Seattle and I always have a great experience when I go there. I had a very rude and unpleasant experience this time as the "owner" (he looked like a manager) made my experience unpleasant and definitely unprofessional. When I got home I noticed the missing sub sandwich and immediately contacted the store and was told my missing sandwich was there. I had to drive all the way back to this store to make sure my order was complete this time and also asked the owner (I think he said his name is Jeremiah, or something close to that) and asked about the side of bacon I purchased and he told me I could only buy 2 max pieces. I also asked him what the amount that I paid for the 2 pieces and he stated he didn't know what I was charged. I didn't even get a copy of the receipt for the bacon. I still don't know how much they charged me as I used cash to buy it. I really believe that my experience would have been really great had the owner had not been there. The other employees were very professional and had excellent customer service skills, but could only do very little to help me as the unprofessional owner was in charge of helping me. I would definitely like to give this store a great review, but for now I wouldn't even give a star if I could. Again, I just want to mention that the employees were very professional and polite, but the owner made my experience horrible.
I wanted to make another review about this store on Aroura Avenue in Seattle. The manager Gerome (which originally he said that he was the owner of this store) I only figured out his name per the other reviews. I did not see him on this visit (he may had been in the back). This review goes out to the employees of the store. I have now been to this store twice and every time I've been there, the employees have been awesome! They make me feel welcomed and take the time to make my sandwich correctly as I ordered it. They always have a positive attitude and should definitely be recognized for their service. I only changed my star rating for this store because of them. The food there is great, but would be better if there were more options. Again, SHOUT out to them for the excellent service they provide. As long as I don't have any interactions with "Gerome", I feel comfortable to order food there. When I did order from this specific Jersey Mike, I actually thought that the food was ok, not the best not the worst. If I were to rate it, it would probably be around a 4. The main reason I gave this place a 1, is solely because of one of the employees, who might have been a supervisor or manager, who was angrily yelling at a couple of workers. Even when I arrived inside to pick up my order that I made online, he was still angry, and from what I could tell, one of the workers made a mistake in one of the sandwiches or didnt an item into the bag, and the supervisor/manager was furious, even after I entered the establishment. I was standing at the register for about 2 minutes until the man turned to me and asked what I wanted and as soon as I said I came to pick up an order, he immediately turned around and asked the employees he was just yelling at, "and you couldn't get this guy's order" rudely, and the employee handed me the order.
Normally, I would give the place a second chance to redeem itself and adjust my reviews base off of my next experiences, but this one time made me lose all hope for this Jersey Mike's. Read more6.19.2023 @1150AM Went here for a sandwich. Unfortunately, their lack of safe food practices and disappointing customer service has completely deterred my future business at this location.
As my sandwich was being made, another customer approached the counter because his sandwich was not fully cut. He was simply requesting for a knife to complete the cut. The cashier instructed him to bring the sandwich back to the counter for them to finish cutting. I SAW the sandwich had already been touched AND a bite missing. I let the scenario play through thinking there's no way they would use the same knife to cut MY sandwich. But I was WRONG.
The man's sandwich was cut, my sandwich was grabbed by the same ones that touched an eaten sandwich and the same knife began to cut my sandwich. I said "WHOA! You're using the same knife that touched his eaten sandwich"- the lady argued that she "Didn't see him touch the sandwich" and had she seen him, she wouldn't have done what she's clearly doing now. I said it was bit and that I didn't want THAT sandwich. The man that sliced the meats/cheese then chose to jump into the conversation and said "That's fine, we'll give it to somebody that wants the sandwich." I said okay and as I was walking out, the man gave me a sarcastic "Have a great day"-
