I live 45 mins S. of Seattle and since I had to be around the Northgate area for a court case for over a week, I searched for all the hotels and Motels that were in the 15 miles around. This one was just a few miles from Northgate exit on I-5 North of Seattle.
I called to make the reservation and very nicely the manager responded that instead of having to pay $75.00 per day, a week was going to be $450.00 flat and I ended up paying the rest without having to pay the taxes. I was able to spend up to $90 per day, but liked that my car was right up front from my room and it had a nice kitchenette with more than a small fridge + microwave where you barely can put something inside.
The rooms are as described, cleaned with 2 hangers, 3 pillows, enough toilet paper 🧻, small packs of cheap shampoo and soap 🧼, and cheap hotel towels.
I came prepared with my own towels, toiletry, sented plugging, dish soap + dish towel, food, silverware 🍽, 🥂 glasses, cups, 🥣 bowls, knives, cutting boards, can opener, hangers, extention cord, etc.
If something was wrong with my room, they kindly apologized, and immediately brought it to my room. I decided when and what had to be done to my room, that it was washing the floors, putting more mats, changing the sheets every day, leaving the heat on, what ever I asked, they all kindly comply with politesse.
My 🚗 car was secured 24 hours a day by a security guard and nothing was stolen from my room except the cleaning ladies throw away my cap from my hair bottle and the other clear plastic where my toothbrush 🪥 was in. It was probably my fault because I laid them around, and since some are from other countries, they might have thought it was 🗑 trash. I'm pretty sure, if I would have talked to the manager about it, he would have immediately told the personnel because he's a really kind person and very open minded 😉.
If I had to be in that area for a few days, I would go back. I loved that it has a mid-sized fridge + microwave with huge sink what you usually don't have with regular Hotels or Motels and when you stay for a few days... it's nice!
I hope this can help you make a better choice on which Hotel or Motel you want to stay when you are in the...
Read moreGreat value, location & service! As a solo traveler who needed a clean, safe & affordable hotel not too far from downtown, this hotel was perfect.
The hotel is located in a PRIVATE GATED LOT so I felt super secure. It has FREE PARKING and the check in process was kind, professional & quick.
The rooms are CLEAN & have a microwave, coffee machine and larger mini fridge with small freezer area that can fit leftover boxes too.
It took me about 20 min drive (depending on traffic time) from where I was staying in Downtown Seattle the day before. The hotel is off of a busier road but I found the street noise to be mild.
My stay was quiet, peaceful and had everything I needed. Grocery store was close by like Sprouts for me to get some necessities for my stay.
Overall, the hotel & grounds were well maintained and extremely clean. You can tell by the hospitable Checkin and the maintenance the staff do during the day like cleaning leaves off the parking, they care about the establishment and have a high standard of service. I was delighted to see a cute bow design on my toilet paper roll in the bathroom!
It’s not the fanciest / closest spot from downtown of course, but I think it’s hands down the best deal as I wanted to save money on food & hiking! I would definitely...
Read moreIf you want qualify service and cleanliness at a more than reasonable price this is it. You honestly won't find a better value within the city limits of Seattle. The property has been completely remodeled and all of the rooms have been revamped with fresh clean colors. They have large bathrooms with shower and a tub you won't be afraid to soak in. And I shouldn't forget to mention big screen high def tv. Free internet. Clean refrigerator and microwave along with coffee maker. And you also get a large three drawer dresser clean enough to actually keep your clothes in.The property is very secure and gated with great lighting. Your within a short bus ride or drive to downtown. I'm not shure but believe the property is managed by the family that owns it. Or at least they must be paid enough to really care about the qualify and service that you get. Forget giving your money to big corporations. Especially when you can still find quality family owned business like the Best motel. I'd rather pay a fair price to someone working hard for their return. Unlike Days inn econolodge or other corporations that care more about the bottom line than their customers. Give it a try and you...
